In case you’re wondering, it’s an adhesive for flooring

I’m full of a cold today so a bit slow.
What’s just hit me is the irony of the statement he makes: “relied on a South American-like drum to help create any sort of noise.”
Because everyone knows that those Brazilians and Argentines are as silent as church mice and bring no atmosphere to matches.
Right, back to my Lemsip. :(
Not everyone agrees; I used to not mind Sunderland, but they’ve turned into Geordies up their own rears, I hope they go down.
“The atmosphere was tremendous from the Sunderland fans, who were behind the side from start til finish (yeah, it’s the norm). A few passing Wigan Athletic supporters at the end of the game commented that it was the loudest Away following that they’d experienced which was a fantastic complement. Wigan on the other hand were pretty lifeless and relied on a South American-like drum to help create any sort of noise. I’d absolutely hate it if Sunderland had to resort to such a ‘cringeworthy’ off the field crowd encouragement crutch.”
I know you will have noticed it – but the move that got Cattermole sent off started from al Habsi collecting the ball confidently, and getting it moved forward very quickly – something we’ve missed.
Three.

And anyone who tells you that they knew that without Googling it is lying
No contest of who I would prefer – al Habsi.
Edit> Sorry! Of whom I would prefer….. :)
Nope (that’s in answer to “anyone know”, by the way)

You mean the man that left us this memory:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnPGV9f0F8A&p=BB363A8DC204D315&playnext=1&index=1I thought it related to the early days of this board and “shoeing” – there were only 4 asterisks in the first post, and that’s the only word I can find
i agree with the south stand bit but you cant really have the bottom half standing cos then everyone would have to…unless you closed the top half :P
Always used to be like that in most grounds.
There would have to be a void area between the top and bottom so people standing wouldn’t block the view of those sitting.i don’t really know why I am trying to explain this as it will never happen.[/quote]
The Stretford End used to have seats at the back

When I was your age I went to loads of away games too.
Even up to a few seasons ago I went to virtually every one.
I didn’t moan about those who didn’t come along. I just either enjoyed myself, or felt depressed, depending on the result.
As life goes on the enthusiasm of youth goes away, and the responsibilities grow so that we can’t always do what we would like to do. I’d love to have nothing else to do (as I did when I was a student back in the Neolithic era) but go to matches. Life ain’t like that.
Please don’t lecture us about what we should do. Please do not ever dream of telling me to “get off my arse”. :x
The papers are never going to change their view that “we are badly supported, and that is because we’re a rugby town”. Get over it. If you want to go to every game then do so. Give them a cheer for me too.
But when you get to my age, then you can possibly think about lecturing people. But you’ll find that it isn’t worth it – because no-one listens.
