Horrible. :?
Won’t be changing my avatar.
No. I’ve got the lot picked up from eBay quite cheaply.
I dont think this thread is going anywhere now so do you think we can curtail it please ! If you feel that strong about it get yourself down to Hyde park and vent your spleen on a tea box down there ! Its the same old story every time a new government comes to power and to be honest its getting tedious now ! :idea:Sory, fil, but a thread going nowhere needs to be curtailed?
I can think of a lot more in that category.
And (to quote many a poster on here) – don’t read it then.
When we beat Villa? :?When we wore blue and white?
…. and whooossshhhh again! :D
Whoooossshhhhhh!!
Alastair Campbell once asked me “Do you know who I am?” (in THAT sort of tone).
I was happy to tell him that actually I did.

BurnleyI’m sorry but this is just plain stupid. No way that this is going to happen.
Reading are NEVER going to get promoted.
I remember when it was called the League Cup.
And the top teams didn’t enter.

Number of goals scored has nothing at all to do with whether someone should be captain.
It’s about leadership on the pitch. Who can encourage, cajole when necessary, drive, influence etc etc.
Titus would be a great captain but needs to focus on his own role rather than worry about anyone else.
Strikers tend not to be captains (and someone will tell me of a large number who are, but I said “tend”) as they have a particular role to play; similarly keepers who are a step distant from influencing players in front of them (and yes, I know about Casillas and Zoff and whoever else).
I don’t know enough about the relationships in the team to know who is perceived as “the leader”. I am sure there is one though.
Oh yes indeedy :)
Seems like a really clever and sensible signing to me. Hes got prem experience, hes a decent keeper better than what we’ve had in the past. And to be honest i think he’l give Kirkland a run for his money in the starting line up. Ive never rated Kirkland anyway… Lets just not be racist to him :roll:Why should we be racist to Kirkland?
Is it significant that the press release says “Wigan Athletic have today announced that technical sports apparel brand Mifit will supply the Replica kit and training apparel for the new Barclays Premier League season. The deal will initially last two seasons, and be Mifit’s first venture into the replica market.”?
It talks about the Replica Kit, training apparel and the replica market. It doesn’t say they will be producing the first team kit.
And no, I can’t think why the two would be separate – but it just struck me as a strange phrasing.
Replica kit is meant as a copy of the 1st team kit.[/quote]
I know what “replica” means.
I was pointing out it doesn’t actually say they will be making the 1st team kit.
