Can’t seem to be able to load this page.
What does it say?
Now now, Fawlty. Live and let live that’s what I say…… They’re not all bad, you know…..
We have a keeper in the African Nations final though
I was born in Liverpool….
… in Everton actually.
NuneatonLatic, I disagree.I think it will hurt the likes of myself more, who has seen the club progress from the bottom to the top. After dreaming about it, then living the dream, it would be heart breaking to see us throw it all away.
Your younger fans who aint got a clue about the clubs history etc, rather than hurt them they probably just wont come again were as I will be there as normal to witness what ever the future holds. So you’re saying that you and they are fans of the Premier League, not of Wigan Athletic?
They come to see Wayne Rooney or Torres or whoever, not our players??
They are excited by seeing Chelsea or Man City or Everton, but not Nottingham Forest, or Blackpool or Rochdale?
I went earlier in the season to watch Accrington play Crewe – and it was a cracking game. Gutted that I missed Yeovil (a team I haven’t seen) at Tranmere the other night. I’m a football fan. Not a fan of the Premier League.
Happy that we’re there. Hope we stay there. Won’t lose sleep if/when we’re not there.
I’ve got a season ticket, so can rest easy.
Couldn’t agree on a sell on fee and installments.
Looking like another shambolic transfer window and this time it’s going to cost us our status.
Let’s say for example that we had agreed on a basic fee (which we seem to), and then they said they want a few hundred thousand per goal (or whatever) or so many euros per win (even if he doesn’t play) or so many million if we avoid relegation (similarly whether or not he plays) – and all of these are the sort of extras talked about – are you really saying we should say “Okey-dokey” and that if we say “no” it’s “shambolic”.
You really don’t understand the art of negotiation, do you?
I think I know which group I’m in…. :?

OK – here we go.
Villareal stop the transfer of Marco Rubens
Marco Rubens, the Argentine striker of Villareal B. who had announced on Monday his transfer to Wigan, has returned to his team-mates as he has not concluded the deal which would bring him to the English club.
At the last moment on Monday differences between the clubs about fine details of the contract stopped the deal (“paralysed the operation!!”), causing the player to cancel his trip to London on Tuesday afternoon under the orders of Villareal.
Sources close to the club and to the player indicate that the deal is not dead but further discussions will take place in the hope of finding a solution to the situation.
In the meantime the Argentine goalscorer does not want to make any statements after the training session on Tuesday, despite his clear disappointment about this setback.
Villareal had accepted an initial offer of about 4.5 million Euros, an amount which could increase with results. It is this latter point that is the sticking point between the two clubs. -
