I’ve been in work. Was it really that bad???

No hiding today. We were dire.
Whether we judge what is to be done on one absolutely awful performance when we compare against last week when we were by far the betther team and should have won, is a moot point.
But today we were woeful.Right folks.
I am completely sure that GG will not push this further, but I will.
I actually witnessed this today.
GG did all that he promised – he even had his mouth sellotaped up. A real trooper.
So – I know he won’t raise the issue again but the cause is a hugely worthwhile one. Suicide is a huge blight on our society. How can we be thought to be a reasonable rational society that allows this?
GG has had donations from 9 people. I’m sure we at Cockney Latic can improve on that. It’s a matter of group pride.
It doesn’t need to be much, and if you pay tax (who doesn’t these days? Oh yes, Amazon) the Government will pay towards it (and that can’t be bad can it?)

Barnoldswick Town have announced Matt Barnes will leave the club with immediate effect. Barnes has departed by mutual consent.
The club statement on the departure said, “We would like to take this opportunity of thanking Matt for his services to the club and wish him all the best for the future.”
Barnoldswick defeated Silsden on Tuesday evening in the West Riding Senior Cup. They’ve won three of their last three games, and currently sit 11th in the North West Counties Premier Division.
Surprised Cook’s not been mentioned for that too. Looks like he’s a candidate for every vacancy – even though he is our manager. ;)
