If we rip the contracts up we have to pay them, so unless someone chooses to buy them then we stuck with them.

You cant just go around getting rid of people. The reason the kids are being released is because they are on peanuts.

So has he gone for peanuts or have the admins pocketed it? Make your mind up.

Did they not just release our accounts accounting for every penny?

Weren’t most deals under DW done as undisclosed? (It may also not be us who aren’t disclosing it, but Bradford.) Was he 9n the rob as well?

Oh…and they wont tell you the fee the same way they wont tell you the salary of every player.

Its still a business cuppy and the details wont be talked about down the local chippy. Is what it is.

No idea who Crawshaw is so he can go.

That’s it 4231. This is a business deal at the end of the day and they aren’t conducted on Twitter and down the local pub.

The card holders at Debenhams won’t be getting hourly updates on the state of the sale. It’s business.

Obviously as football fans we always demand to know more and know the goings on (see the constant abuse aimed at Royle for not having a column in the goon post) but this is a busimess deal with legal ramifications. Hardly going to be doing interviews every Thesday at Burger Kings.

Only people doing anything about it and they getting stick for not spilling the beans on twitter. Only in wigan.

What would you like them to tell you bullitt lad? Listened to that Caroline on PWU podcast and she was quite informative and said she has an NDA so can’t say too much.

Then again, you men got all the answers when you sang catchy songs at an empty office building. Worked wonders that ‘protest’ did.

What bet is that then? No proof it ever existed and if it had (legally) then as people have pointed out that work in the trade (see twitter from back around that time) it would have serious affects on gambling markets across the world. It didn’t. So it was either placed illegally or was never even placed.

There’s no conspiracies here. They had just had enough so sold us up the river. They got caught (ish) and so they “waived” their £40m

in reply to: Darren Royle #190726

It would have made literally no difference whatsoever. If the owners were adament they didn’t want to fund another penny then what was going to the press going to achieve?

If they don’t put money in, we can’t pay wages and bills etc and guess what happens then? That’s right…..administration.

Who would have paid the bills why they were investigated for fraud? Who would have investigated them? The same people who said they were fit and proper who still haven’t admitted there was any wrong doing?

Oh aye, we’d have been miles better off.

Fuck me our fans are thick

I like your optimism wigan8 lad :yahoo:

Based of course on knowing little to fuck all about what happened.

I also know little to fuck all about what happened, aside from listening to JJ tell us what happened and how he could do very little to stop it and how it eats away at him.

in reply to: Darren Royle #190702

Because of your claim that Royle was complicit in what happened and did nothing to stop it.

Neither did JJ that we know of, so is he as complicit? A lifelong fan who happened to be on the board.

By your reckoning he just let the club he supports and loves that his Dad once helped to save from the brink, be fed to the wolves.
