We have a lack of confidence. Its clear. Evans missing and Walton being shite are not Cooks fault. He then gives a talk and within 5 we concede again. Summat we keep doin and doin. Again….not cooks fault and a good job hes bald.
He says week after week we need to stop making mistakes because at this level we get punished but players (and usually the ones fans claim are the best) keep makin em.
Walton has been poor agreed, but who was at fault for the goals? Cook? No!
If the great Lee Evans who everyone wants in the side wasn’t inept then we would have been 1 up.
I agree that Waltons shite but again I have said that all year. In august we all wanked over his signing
They had 3 chances and took them. We had 1 at 0-0 and MISSED.
HOW IS THAT COOKS FAULT??
I alao doubt AGAIN that his team talk was lets concede within 5.
Should be straight in alongside Joe Gelhardt in a 442 with McManaman on both wings he’s that good.
No Mcmanaman? You off your head eggy?
Not got money on us going down this time?
I rest my case ( See above ) ;)
Backed against your team again then yeah.
Wrong, as you invariably are. What a weapon!
Best hurry up. 12/1 with Hills.
Surely we should be odds on the way everyone on here goes on.
the owners have the right to do what they want.
We know that. Dont stop us debating what to do though
yip just like your namesake the jigsaw.potted.lol.
Wasnt a jigsaw for us was he? Wish we still had a front 3 of him Lidds and Haworth.

So who replaces him and why is everyone so sure the teams below us will turn their form around (which as eggy says is worse than ours over the last 10 games) but we wont?
One of the few threads you make any sense on to be fair
Its all been said before filly.
Our strength in depth will be lacking at this level as we dont have the money or appeal that most clubs have unless we opt to risk the future of the club. We sign players for £1m. Most clubs in this league pay 10x that. Of course we will struggle when we lose players.
Our aim is to stay up and despite a record as poor as we have of late we are still currently on track to do that.
If Cook isnt good enough to succeed on this budget with these injury issues then who is? Bearing in mind we probably camt afford most “big” names
So who is capable then week in week out of getting results with a limited squad and no powell against sides with 10x+ yhe transfer budget?
When Martinez did it year after year he was deemed to be shit, so who is capable that will play the 442 exciting football that we all so dearly crave?
Who wants 442?
Our form went to shit because Cook messed around with the formation and our approach to play once injuries hit. Massey’s pace was a loss but all other positions could have been covered with the existing squad. We are unrecognisable from the team that started the season, irrespective of personnel. The closest we got was when down to ten men against Derby. The shackles came off and we looked better than at any other game these past 2-3 months.
The Premier League is a massive gulf in quality over the Championship. Excellent sides can still be relegated given the resources of the opposition. In the Championship only poor sides go down. There isn’t the strength in depth. The odd season you get an outsatanding side or two, but most can beat each other on their day.
Our form the last few months has us bottom of the league. Below sides like Bolton, Ipswich, Rotherham and Millwall. While the likes of QPR and Hull are now pulling well out of sight. The better managers will learn from their mistakes. When you hit a 2-3 month slump and see no signs of improvement, no signs of adapting, then you have to worry.
Well every team after a defeat is usually met with cries for 2 strikers and Im sure several people on the team thread went with 442 whilst donny loves a good 442.
Congratulations on failing to answer my question though
Should have been, however the tactics didn’t quite work and it’s 4 points from a relegation place with a promotion challenging side with two strikers next.
Can we sit on the 0-0 for 90 odd minutes or should we have a go at them, after all playing with two strikers doesn’t work so we should start favourites.Well clearly the tactics did work as we created a panful of chances but our finishing let us down.
