Here goes…….to sum moses up he has great talent BUT he isnt a team player,at times he just needs to lay the ball off or pass it, just do the simple thing but he chooses to go it alone

Fully agree. See the two incidents against Everton as clarification.

Need to avoid defeat in the next 2 I think.

The goal had been coming I thought. We rode our luck alot.

Still confident of survival with the run ins unless QPR can shock Spurs. Our safety net is the Wolves game I think.

Personally id love Blackburn and Bolton to go down, along with Wolves although i think they are already doomed,

Fingers crossed for a good result against Fulham ;)

Got a Rovers supporting mate so hopefully they survive but he can’t see it and nor can I tbh. Their saving grace could be if Chelsea are in the CL final.

Is it me, or is the ball in the picture?

Does that say 2-0 after 34 minutes?

Can’t see the pic, but I presume it is counting down from 45.

No need to pass on your thoughts, he’s an FA board member, certain conflict of interests there, given his club play tottenham in 12 days, he should be getting a word in his ear for that, the cheating Bolton bastards!

I get what you mean about the Macleish, O’Neill etc part now lol.

I still wouldn’t trust him to make the choice though.

We’ll pass on your thoughts thanks Phil.

You can’t beat watching a game on teletext though lol. Putting the scores on and then getting excited when you were no longer on page 2, only to realise it was because someone on there had scored a panful.

We don’t need to sell as much as we have done in the past, and when Kirkland moves on at the end of the season, that’s another hefty salary off the books.

Rodallega is a dead cert to go, with speculation about Diame, Moses and McCarthy – which will hopefully lead to nothing.

As there’s a good chance of there being a closing down sale at Rangers, and with the Scottish lads in our squad being the quickest to adapt to the Premier League, I wouldn’t mind the club getting hold of Stevie Naismith – who can score goals, and/or Steven Whittaker – who is a decent right back or right midfielder.

Naismith would be an ok buy I think

Not claiming anything as fact, just saying that Mancs, Glaswegians, Scousers etc would not be expected to support both teams but would be expected to support one of them be it either their side of the City or their side of religion etc.

Let me post my comment again:

‘So, for a lot of people all this ‘you should support your town in whatever they do’ belief is b@llocks – otherwise Liverpudlians would support Liverpool and Everton and Mancunians would support City and United.’

Isn’t what you’ve said the same?

eg. Liverpool will not support Everton. The two clubs are across Stanley Park from each other and families could be split red and white, but, you’d never support them because they are your bitter rivals – never mind that your brother supports them, or you live closer to Goodison than Anfield.

Likewise, Wigan RL are our rivals until someone else comes along and takes our attention away.
I guess in a way it is, but I don’t see Wigan RL as rivals of Wigan Athletic and vice versa. I see them as two teams representing the town at two totally different sports that have no effect on each other at all bar the odd fixture change.

No they wouldn’t, they would support whichever team was on their side of the City. Man Utd and Man City play the same sport and are rivals so naturally you wouldn’t support both. Wigan Athletic and Wigan Warriors play two different sports so there is nothing stopping you following, or at least well wishing, both.
Egg, is that your opinion or are you claiming it as fact? Quite often, geography has f’ck all to do with it.

Anfield and Goodison are a dozen streets away from each other. And what about Dundee? The two grounds are across the road from each other.

Also, religion dictates which club you support in most of Scotland.

In South Wales there’s a huge football v Rugby Union rivalry, and in Belgrade, Red Star have a football team and basketball team and they hate each other.

I’ve always supported Wigan Athletic and Orrell RU. So yes, it is possible to support another Wigan team, but Wigan Ath and Orrell aren’t rivals.

Wigan Ath and Wigan RL are however, whether it be a different sport or not.

When Wigan Ath lose, I get a dozen p*ss taking messages via text or Facebook from Wigan RL supporters (one of which is an administrator of that RL site you frequent) but funnily enough, none from any of my Bolton, Liverpool, Everton, City, United, Blackburn or Preston supporting mates. Why? Because they aren’t our rivals – and generally they don;t give a toss about us.

(Incidentally, I don’t send similar messages when Wigan RL lose because I generally don’t have a f’cking clue they’ve even been playing.)

It’s the sort of thing you’d experience if you were a Blackburn fan with Burnley fans in your family, or Southampton/Portsmouth, or Wednesday/United, or Stoke City/Port Vale.

If Wigan Borough were still in existence, then maybe it would be different.
In my opinion of course
