Does anyone know the reason why he only served a one match ban (Liverpool) for his sending off. I have always understood the rules that two yellows was a 1 match ban and a straight red 3 matches.Appeal?

My problem with Sunday’s game is that it will no doubt be the usual borefest that Wigan v Fulham seems to have become in the prem.
They’ll come with 10 behind the ball like normal and as usual we’ll struggle to break them down. Prepare to be bored whale.

Does anyone in Newcastle have a job? There’s always thousands of them outside The Sports Direct @ St James’ Park Stadium whenever SSN are there, whereas Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal etc etc there might be 5 or 6.

Whilst we’ve always been pretty dire away from home in the PL, we very rarely got tonked.
This season we have lost 4-0 to Arsenal (not a huge problem) and now the bottom of the table Portsmouth. Add to that a 5-0 tonking against Man Utd and we’re struggling. Total football will not work EVERY week. Sometimes you have to go and get stuck in.
