The law of averages says NO but I guess stranger things have happened ! Despite scoring 2 tonight I cant help but think that we don’t penetrate the box enough and against sides who still have something to play for in the coming months it could prove our downfall. Hope I am wrong but I just have a hunch this season that our Gods may look the other way ! We need 2 more teams like Villa who seem to have shot their bolt !

Any team that as had the majority of there back line missing most of the season are bound to struggle to have two of your first choice center backs missing the majority of the season is just not right .I dont think we have had Bobbys preferred back three/five all season

Not very much, because it’s a rugby union show. Rugby league has sold its soul to Sky, and it has to live with that. For rugby league fans we’ve got a very good online presence, we are carrying the Challenge Cup and we have highlights of the England internationals in the autumn.
But the sport has done its deal with Mr Murdoch, and that’s something rugby league fans have to deal with. If you live in the north of England there is the Super League Show, which is a regional transmission, and if you really want to see rugby league outside of the north, you should write to your local BBC and see if they’ll carry it as a local transmission.

I think calling that performance adequate is mental talk JR no matter what the outcome is.If we stood by the team last season on the fact that good performances were not getting results I think the team saturday should be in for the criticism they are due on the back of a bad performance!
Joel – Looked confident and decent distribution.
Stam – I used to think he was shit but he just looked like he couldnt care less (praying we sign stones or anyone!)
Golobart – was okay although should of had blatent penalty given against him.
Figueroa – The only player on the pitch who you could tell was a level above the rest.
Mustoe – Did well.
Gomez – Looked his usual self neither good or bad.
Espinoza – I like him looked nervous at times but he isnt scared to hit a pass down the wing etc.
Fyvie – No range or cutting edge to his passing we have enough ball movers thanks.
Mcmanaman – did well in first half but its the least I would expect of him.
Dicko – Did okay and for better finishing could of had a goal.
Henriquez – No point in judging him on the back of another non service!All in all they should of had a penalty and if they got it I would have fancied them to go on and get the winner.
I will back Martinez to the point of relegation for all he does for us as a club but his team selection in this cup is not good enough.
It is all good and well saying he wants to try out younger players but take a look at the team V Nottingham Forest at the start of the season

Its Bobbys job to pick the team and I trust him but if he puts the same team out again against Huddersfield/Leicester and they play as poorly as against Macclesfield I will not be a happy bunny.
We have a genuine chance of going all the way IMO.
You could also put into the agenda that those teams above played in the early cup rounds before we got the injury list of all injury lists at one stage we had Ben Watson at center back and even david Jones played in the back line
30, by constantly referring to Bradford as the finalists you are not appeasing any of the fans that thought we should have buried them at our gaff ! The truth of the matter is many clubs don’t give a flying fcuk about the domestic cups any more.It’s a shame but a reality but good luck to them !Really you would of thought that the breakdown of some fans on here that we didn’t smash Macc into the middle of next week was seen as a poor result yet we won ,we must be taking a leaf out of the Newcastle supporters book big club massive loyal fans who deserve the best no matter what the position of the club financially is left in
Although the fringe players didn’t play well indeed the fixtures played in cup competitions this season I believe they have an unbeaten record to press excluding of course the penelty shoot out against the finalists Bradford
