even the rugby fans arnt to chuffed about the club call theory
Any Gomez bashing this season is not due in my opinion as he has had a fairly good start and is one of the more calming influences in the team.If I had to pick a major criticism from yesterday it was the corners.
There has to be someone in the team who can kick a ball into the area!!!
It does not have to be whipped in at 100 mph or curled onto someones head at the near post!
Just hit so it drops into the box just far enough so the keeper does not come out for it.
Simples.
All in all its not been a bad start plenty of teams looking worse than us this season who will hopefully prop us up for a nice mid table finish.
I am in no way a Gomez basher but when he took the shot on in the first half when Maloney was in a better position to score did me yed in
If your a latics supporter you are allowed views of the club on any forum you wish to post on dont make you a less supporter
Sudders your a gonk
john doe your a gonk for encouraging the acne faced wassock
Schwarzer was the man of the match for Fulham according to the Sunday Express which actually praised the Wigan Supporters on there polite applause for the Rodders goal
30 too many years Latics, are you a mental case or do you actually just love all that is WAFC ? If you gained any hope whatsoever from that shite today then all I can say is that you are as earlier quoted mental or just WAFC blinkered to the point where you don’t actually hold a genuine opinion !
If you cant take anything positive from yesterday I would say you are a very pessimistic person Philadelphia.[/quote]
Indeed he reminds me of Dave from skem goes off on a rant every so often then the clubs loyal fan the next a bit of a wind up poster is filly
All fair comment yosser, but we are what we are. It must be frustrating at times for bobby, he hasn’t got alot of money to spend, so has to take a chance on cheaper players, and the best thing for him is if they perform just good enough. Let me elaborate on that, if they don’t perform well, we get mullered and ultimately will get relegated, if they perform too well, they’ll be sold to the highest bidder at the first opportunity, so mediocrity is the order of the day, to get a team gelling and playing well enough to stay in the league. At least he’s taking a chance on 2/3 million pound players and not 8/10 million pound players, which have just the same potential to be shite at times.
We will never be top six challengers with the spending and wage structure we have, and that is due to the lack of income the club receives, but in the long run we’ll be ok, and that is what’s important, if you look at a club like Everton, it’s taken 10 years from a good manager like moyes to get steady results and at times a really good side, but they spend beyond their means at times and leave themselves vulnerable because of it, and they too are forced to sell assets when another club comes in for them, they haven’t won anything and I think we have got to as many finals as them in the last 10 years. And this is a club steeped in history and success with a large fan base, so what do we really expect?
I think that mid table is a fantastic achievement, but survival is always the aim, and I think we are capable of that, a good cup run would boost morale and revenue and give us more exposure, so we should be giving it a real go, something I think we have been guilty of ignoring in recent years.
We have to remember that we are new to this game, and are feeling our way into it, both economically and on the pitch, if we are still here in 10 or 15 years I would wager that the ground will be full every week, and the personnel will be of a better standard, but we’ll have to put up with some frustration in the meantime, but it’s not all bad, we’ll have some great days this season as well as the shite.goodpost goodpost goodpost
Deary me filly we had enough chances to get a draw from that game and it was a poor performance I admit but no need to throw the towel in yet or will you start a thread like last season predicting no more than 30 points and relegated by christmas :silly:
Good post Bigroy as you say to many drama queens on here amd indeed other sites the very same who dissapeared towards the end of last season and are back in abundance makes you think that they are indeed lean towards the egg quater of the fine town of Wigan
A bit over the top these remarks or is someone fishing for a bite either way poor

Last season’s game was probably the most frustrating game of the season to batter a side and end up losing was hard to stomach any how it’s about time Schrawzer has a shocker for a change
Any criminal who fires a weapon at a police officer or the general public should replace one of our brave soldiers in Iraq or Afghanistan see how they like it when the opposition shoot back
