my first memories are hereford 1952 and then newcastle 1953, don’t remember much to be honest, but it set me on my way, i was hooked. many, many years later , i’m still hooked. thanks latics for a fantastic journey, a journey which will never be equalled by anybody. we should be all be priveledged to have been part of it. :cheer:

I thought he was slow getting back to prevent the first goal. Bit of a gamble I thought from Bob, but it paid off.It looked like he hesitated at one point and lost that vital yard to cut the cross out
I used to like going the non league grounds when we was in the third/fourth division like Altrincham and Runcorn but our cup run in 85 I think when we got knocked out by Leeds stands out
Alan Hanson just said on MOTD they’ve played well last four matches and got nothing today played poorly on got three points
If we win Tuesday I think we are two points behind Villa who are at home to Chelsea on the Saturday assume they lose and we lose to Aresnal then the last match could still be winner takes all depending on other results
I don’t know why we only start playing when we go behind, I think only the players could answer that one.It could possibly down to blind panic? or maybe they start thinking ‘Crikey we best do summat here now’?
I know one thing, coming from behind and getting a result like that can only do good for confidence. Roll on Tuesday. :cheer:

People can only comment on what they see and it was looking bad for a while. I learned long ago not to write them off too soon. The ‘doom’ and then ‘belief’ you speak of is what the team makes you believe, If you are desperate for points and know you need super performances then you are 1-0 down playing badly and then 2-1 down playing badly, People have the right to react to it. Delighted with the 3 points but chuffing hell i wish they would just get a few comfortable 2 or 3 nil wins every so often :cheer: :cheer:[/quote]
