I think the Chairman has to big up the manager. He did it with Paul Jewell and Steve Bruce.
If truth be known, most were delighted when he was appointed manager. Being honest, I was desperate to see him in that chair as indeed most fans were.
Whelan on this occasion did exactly what most fans would have done.

But, looking at our remining fixtures it really hits home how near we are to the drop. In the remaining time we have left, realisticly we can do nothing.
All we can do is remember, even now were still living a life long dream. Next season could be our 6th in the top flight. The only possible way we can help the team is with support.
My feelings are known, but I’m willing to forget them to give the team what’s needed. If I can forget grievances, anyone can.
If you can forget your grievances as well for the next couple of months, we may be ok.My negativity is sometimes down to frustration and anger, but with now such a short time left, I see there is no point in losing my hair over the football.
All I will say about the final stages, is a regularly used quote suggests we will manage to stay up.

If the above proves correct, we will stay up. Hugo had enough chances to win us the game at Brum and some of our earlier results have been down to lacking the final touch.

Sooner he’s out the better. As a player i used to worship him. As a manager he’s out of his depth,to inexperienced. He doesn’t take risks or is scared of making a change. He was a legendary player,as a manager i think it’s better if we forget. Maybe in 10/12 years time when he has got that experience. Now is too soon for such a young manager with limited knowledge on team selection and POSITIVE tactics.

If you could see him learning experience, then yes. How long do you think we should give him? If were 1 point off bottom of Championship this time next year, would you still want to stick by him?
