Goole Town finished bottom of the NPL in 1970/71,
and next to bottom in 1971/72.

They joined the new NPL in 1968 and remained there until 1993.

Its a well known fact the official attendance figures at Springfield Park were `docked` for tax reasons!

a crowd of around 6,000 would be `declared` as 3,800!
