Some great posts above and nothing i disagree with.
In the ideal world he should be given the time to rectify the bad form and turn things around however we all know there is no ideal world with football.
Port Vale on saturday is now a massive massive game for him and his team in my opinion and they have to go out there all guns blazing, no more no less !

I thought Cardiff are the best team I have seen so far.
They looked a cut above in my opinion and sadly sometimes you have to accept being outclassed and I’m afraid that’s what happened.Yes the team could have done better but when the opposing team are simply too good it is probably the most deflating thing as a footballer.
We started brightly but each attack was comfortably cleared and they looked like they were coasting and could easily have added more goals but did t need to step up any gears.
You can go on about formations etc but quite simply they were better and I doubt they will play any better team this season
The reaction to defeat is more concerning , do players normally come in on Sunday mornings at 9am ?In last Sunday and I’m certain it was said post match yesterday they are in this Morning at 9am.
That’s punishment for a defeat which happens especially in league 1 and which was always going to happen with a very very good side , they were a better team no use beating up about it , just move on and use the full week to try and get something at Plymouth next Saturday.
Fulham , feel sorry for them , what could be worse as a draw ?
would still have been a west stand only that one for sure.A massive turnaround from the Doncaster game , no punch, flat performance but worse still very reminiscent of the team last season which is even more disturbing.
To get to the last 16 and potentially earn a big pay day would have been massive but treating the game as a reserve game with no scoreboard and no teams read out etc sends out bad messages off and on the pitch in my opinion
Opposition teams sometimes pick up on flat atmospheres and Wycombe most certainly did that last night, took full advantage and they deserved their reward.
A lot to do before Saturday with arguably the best team in the division coming to town.

He also referenced ‘Sunday league ‘ in one of the post match interviews which whilst being very honest is hardly the most tactful remark and hardly likely to endear you to the squad.
somebody like Clough or Shankly or might have uttered stuff like that in the past but hardly the way to go , different time now .
The first half was so very poor and all the reasons highlighted above I agree with.
only one win away since he joined the club , a fault that need addressing If we are to do anything this season.

I remember a game in the Europa league in Maribor when we took around 2- 3000 and behaved impeccably throughout the trip.
Don’t remember too many news stories highlighting that fact.10873
Watched the interview from the Stockport manager and it’s clearly obvious he had just railroaded his team.
I felt they played well in the main and look a strong outfit that will be amongst it at the end of the season.
Good to see old school managers like him and Ryan not pussyfooting around players and blowing smoke up their backsides for no reason, just saying it like it is.
Yes very impressed with his substitutions , not making them to keep people happy just to change the team fortunes.
The changes most certainly changed the team in the second half and the game could easily have gone our way however let’s not forget Tickles superb performance once again with that brilliant save in the second half.I agree also the managers interviews post match are also very open and he doesn’t hold back to protect egos when he doesn’t like something.
Tbat was a very good point yesterday and the roar of the crowd was very loud , as loud as I have heard it for some time which is great.
An interesting time again to be a Latics supporter , this team can only get better but seems to be doing so each game and a play off position or a fight for one has to be the aim.

I would happily take a season of consolidation this year and a slow rebuild with some progress.
That might come quickly or be slower but a push for a play off spot should be a target given how mediocre this league appears to be this season.
It has been a rollercoaster in last 25 years , 5 promotions and 5 relegations and a major trophy to boot.
Steady progress akin to season 2001-2002 when Paul Jewell started to work his magic.
I felt they played well in patches yesterday , a few errors yes but overall a reasonable performance and they showed character to grab that late goal back.
On to the two games with Stockport and Let’s hope a positive attitude in both games.Lots to be positive about.
