He played some of the most boring football I can ever remember. Never saw anything so boring in all my time watching Latics. Been more than matched since though
However we did have the greatest day ever in our history under Bob. Get goosebumps just thinking of those last five minutes.
Then he took the purse of gold and that was it. Bye bye the club I love.

He was sniffing around Euxton this week.
He’ll be back soon :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Maybe Bobby should be given a second chance !

      Dark days for Everton !

When roberto’s football clicked, boy did it click. Sadly, not enough. THE most boring football award surely has to go to warren joyce. His style of football DID test my patience.

I think most people were a bit upset or annoyed when Martinez up sticks and left like he did, but with what went on after he left you can’t blame him because he probably knew what was going to happen to our club.
Fortunately we do now seem to have weathered the storm and have got back to basics with a manager who seems to know how our club ticks ala Paul Jewell, and the future appears to be bright once again.
Hopefully this will continue and the good days will soon be back.

Not being funny, but anybody who bore, or bears, any kind of grudge at Martinez for leaving us for Everton, must be an absolute retard.

Of course you’d go. Its a no brainer.

Big club, full every home game, Premier League. Better wages, better budgets, better facilities. If you didnt go, you’d be an idiot.

            Get over it.

            Hey there Vatman;

Let’s be clear, we love Bobby as a club legend and we all knew that he would go onto greater things. However, it is the timing and manner in which ( his own typical phrase )he left the club that has taken some of the shine off his crown. I watched his body language during the Swansea game, when he took us down; and he was lacking any passion or emotion as he stood with arms folded on the edge of his box.

Yes, we have let it go because we now have confidence that Paul Cook is eventually the right type of replacement that was needed. Bobby might have been “uber cool”, but I prefer a visual show of gut busting passion and emotion ( cos it’s harder to fake.

Nevertheless, statistically; Bobby was a successful Everton Manager.

I keep telling my father-in-law that Everton won’t go down (as he is panicking), but to be honest they need to start getting some points under the belt and quick. No team is too big to o down.

Are they still the only one’s that have never been relegated or have totally misheard that?

FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that

Apparently they have spent 114 seasons out of 118, in the top flight; more than any other club :woohoo: :woohoo:

Everton were in Division 2 in 1930/31 and from 1951 to 1954.

There isn’t one club in the top flight who have never been relegated.
