Lukaku, Barry, Barkley, Baines, Jagielka and Howard all look like world beaters at the moment.Yes okay, better players; but if you consider the “mini league” at the lower half of the Prem, then surely we had a good enough team to finish above the bottom three. Maybe it’s a league of contrasting styles, cos I seem to recall that we looked better against classier opposition and failed miserably to beat the average teams. I think I’ve hit the nail on the head; Bobby had one style. Had he been more adaptable then we might have survived.

We could of never got Martinez and hired someone like Coyle. How long do you think we would of lasted with his “style”? We certainly wouldn’t have one of the strongest squads in the Championship this season…..
