It was a very important midweek programme – for Premier League clubs, that is. The results could well have a significant influence on league positions at the end of the season.

Some of us still take an interest in the Premier League. I’d say the results are worthy of a mention here – or are comments to be limited to just one aspect of sport within the borough?

How long has Everton been in the borough of Wigan?[/quote]

For the last six months apparently

As I said in an earlier post there are plenty of Everton message boards, they will be more than happy on having a new member with such a broad Everton/Martinez knowledge, why not try them out.

To be honest the ‘lightside’ and ‘darksiders’ are probably more united than in the last four years on Martinez, he is HISTORY and we all wish him well in his new career.

He has moved on so why don’t you.

How long before “Bottom Four Bob” has Everton at the wrong end of the table?

It was a ridiculous thread from the start. Don’t blame me – I didn’t start it!

For some reason, lots of people have willingly contributed to it. But nobody makes you read their comments – surely you can find something better to do.

Nobody has to read the thread but if you are a regular visitor to the forum and see the thread has been dragged back up once again its natural to click on and see what is being said.

Sadly its the same thing that has been said for the last 22 pages.

Even the original poster seems to have lost interest long ago.

Orrell Blonde never even got interested.

I’m not surprised. LostockHallLatic now looks rather foolish.

But there are still some people who love to wallow in any set back that Roberto suffers.

      On to 600!

No we don’t all wish him well in his new career, that is what this thread is all about.

PS He has not got a new career, he is a football manager exactly the same career as he had at Wigan Athletic. Now if he had joined Everton as their new physio then yes he would have had a new career. :P

        Manager

Independently of SW’s comment I was about to write that we now have a thread of over 550 comments about another team’s manager.

          Unbelievable.

To my mind, the thread’s more about a handful of knobhead, know-nowt posters than another team’s manager.

Don’t put yourself down like that Griff, there are plenty on here who will do it for you.

A friend of my auntie Meg had to have her budgie put down, it was about 10 years old, a good age age for a budgie, blue it was, with a yellow face, Peter I think it’s name was, or might have been Paul. She lived in a semi at Rose Avenue, Beech Hill, but moved to a flat when her legs packed in.We used to say her legs looked like corned beef.I’m sure she bought another one, budgie, not legs, yellow, and called it Fluffy. That died as well when it was 7. I buried it for her in the back garden. She was crying,my auntie Megs mate, not the budgie, that was fckin deed.
Been dead for about 45 years now,my auntie Megs mate, not Fluffy. RIP ,not Fluffy, my auntie Megs mate, Hilda.
          oh, fck it.

Which just goes to show you up as the bunch of children that you are, which is what most people’s response to you on this thread is all about.

The poster clearly meant wish him well in his new career move. But, if that’s the best you can do, then I think it is indeed time to close down this thread and move on.

A Nobby lotter mate of mine had a budgie that died, he thought a lot of this bird and so decided he wanted to bury it in his garden only problem he was moving house in a months time and so wanted to bury it in his new garden.

The solution was to put the bird in a plastic bag and place it in the freezer, now all was fine until he went away for a couple of days and a poster on this site who shall remain nameless house sat for him.

Feeling hungry he decided to look in the fridge for something to eat, not much in the fridge so he took a peep in the freezer and found a bag of oven chips and a frozen budgie.

I think he ended up going the chippy.

Just thought I’d continued Arkys budgie theme

One of Mike Harding’s stories is called The Fourteen Pound Budgie.

…and yet its ok for you to pick posters up on spelling mistakes?

I think griffy wiffy has got upset that some people don’t like bobbsy wobbsy and bobbsy wobbsy plugged griffy wiffy’s booksy wooksy.
FFS man just accept the fact that some people think Martinez pished on our club. I know its proving hard for you to grasp, but me and many others will not change our minds just cos you say we should.

PS Where is mystic meg these days, is he still waiting for that lad from Brentford to join us, or did he get him mixed up with the lad from Leicester who signed for us today. B)

And you expect to be taken seriously with a post like that?

              No further questions.
