I fully agree with you John about Martinez moving on to better and bigger things, can I ask the so called “in the know ones within the inner circle” on here when it comes to such things why was Bruce not offered the same goodwill by them.

I, for one, never wished Steve Bruce any ill-will for moving on. I was quite pleased he did, I’ve only just got rid of the crick in my next from wathcing his shite football.

So why click on it ? Let it die naturally; yet I don’t think it will. It’s like people watching a programme on BBC TV then phoning in to complain after watching the whole show. YOU DON’T HAVE TO TAKE A PEEK, or can’t you resist.
I’m not in favour of locking an inoffensive thread just because some people don’t like it.
If, for some reason, it doesn’t appeal to some people, then they have a remedy in their own hands – don’t look at it.
This is a forum. If posters wish to contribute to it, then you should let them. Who knows, they may find something new to say.
And the original poster – Alasdair – has already shown his willingness to continue the debate in the new season.

I agree though, let it continue. It’s been an amusing debate. If people aren’t at all interested, they can just ignore it.
