So do you need a clue boys?
No
I think they changed their name, so I am not sure what they are called now but I think they used to be Kirkham Town. (or maybe that is what they are called now from something else).
I used to do some work at a company in Kirkham and I think the owner also owns/owned Kirkham Town and they built a new ground somewhere near BAE in Warton, I have never been but similar photos are all over this chaps office and reception area, and that is about 30 miles from Wigan.[/quote]
Did the best center back ever in the lower leagues manage them a certain Colin Methven LMB ?

Anyway where and when is this
23 March 2014 at 2:10 am #128893It must be some non event that happened to a club who have no history I think

Try this one, its much bigger now than when I used to frequent the place 40 years + ago, but I spent many happy hours here, and still visit to this day at least once a year.

You are quite close, lets just say its one of 2 small Wigan outposts in that area, the other is just over that hill behind the house, but it has an ‘owd fella’ in its way as well.
24 March 2014 at 10:38 pm #128945This is the other little piece of Wigan
And if you look hard enough you can just about make out that ‘owd fella’ I was talking about.
Where are they all
24 March 2014 at 10:55 pm #128946I think one isa view of Coniston.
Still studying to try and be more specific.Could be Low Bank.A place where schools from Wigan take kids on outdoor activity breaks.
And it would be 40 yeas ago when you were at school.
