Whoever takes over has his work cut out. First job will be to sort out Bogle’s finishing
But for me it’s gotta be Nelson Vivas for Gunners defender, lets see some passion and tattoo’s while your at it;-

If it’s Stubbs then I despair. I really do.
When will they learn? Are the admin of our club actually THICK? It just reeks of another Coyle…ex Bolton man again. Same as Joyce as well. I hoped that for once, the club would surprise me and prove me wrong, but if they actually do this…and they’ve just actively and openly DENIED it, then can we ever trust them ever again?[/quote]
No, they’re not thick. Bar Sharpe, the club’s directors and senior admin staff are all experienced and very well educated. But who you see as the ideal candidate may not be the best candidate in their eyes-as there are financial constraints and they can only take into account managers who live in the North West or who are willing to move here.
And don’t forget, they have to work with this person on a day-to-day basis. So if they are a right w@nker who’s likely to make their life hell, they’ll not be keen on giving them the job.
8 May 2017 at 3:02 pm #158812What has them being Ex-Bolton got to do with it?
8 May 2017 at 3:08 pm #158813Let’s just wait and see eh! Then we can either look forward to the new season or just carry on moaning!

What do you mean by a “Yes Man” and what exactly is he going to be saying yes to?

That’s nothing to do with them being ex-Bolton players though!
*Coyle didn’t relegate us

Exactly. I also doubt they set out to relegate us because they once played for Bolton.
8 May 2017 at 9:19 pm #158833Anyway, back to Horc’s clues – I’ve been reliably informed that Stuart Peaqrce has been in the stands for several of our last games – and he seems to fit the clues given so far “to a t”

You know fine and we’ll what I mean….I. mean us employing another clueless gobshite who does another shite job and had us the laughing stock. Again.
Someone who will pander to the clubs penny pinching ways. Someone without any backbone who will.not stand up.and say “I need more money” etc.
If you lot are satisfied to have another knobhead like that in charge….more fool you.

They were shite. Stubbs will be just as bad.
Dear god…wtf is happening here? Our so called fans are as unambitious as the club it seems. (Shakes head)
9 May 2017 at 12:40 am #158845Like I have said many times, some of our fans hanker for the old days of basement football with fuck all attendances! ‘Little Wigan’ mentality!

So whats any of that got do with em bein rx bowtun???
9 May 2017 at 1:08 pm #158853Like I have said many times, some of our fans hanker for the old days of basement football with fuck all attendances! ‘Little Wigan’ mentality! No not at all fil. A lot of our fans have been with this club for a very long time. As a result they know where the club has come from. This does not mean they want to return to the third/fourth/non-league tier, far from it. I hated being relegated, but i just get on with it. I’ll still be there next season as will many. But as i say, most true fans accept who we are as a club.
& lets be honest. Without whelan we would not have gone on our incredible journey & thus, attracting fans like yourself who have only been with us a short time. Fans like yourself who thought this premier league thing would last forever.
One example. When we got into the premier league, i remember bumping into a bloke in the local shop with a latics shirt on. Ah! 2 people in runcorn as latics fans i thought. I got chatting to him. Turns out he is/was a liverpool fan but couldn’t get tickets for anfield. So “tagged on” to latics. 12 years on from 2005, i see that bloke on occassions & surprise, surprise he has gone back to wearing his liverpool shirt.
Yes! I’m afraid we are a little club. We always will be unless a billionaire buys the club & takes us on a journey of winning several EPL titles, cups etc..
Sorry fil. But we are wigan athletic. IMO you need to accept who we are.
