Nixon saying American late bidder with cash has come in to the race late on and seems legit.
If true they need to get a move on to pay the wages.
Edit, got a screenshot but can’t post it on here.
Fuck the EFL

9 August 2020 at 4:35 pm #188641What are these debts you speak of muttster?
“North of 6 million” was what the administrator said on the podcast.
I’d take him as a reliable source.

I’d take him as a reliable source. My understanding of it is that we have £6m worth of football debts which are for transfers. Most of this will be soaked up bytv money and player sales. We have no other debts.
I think the administrators looked at a £9m loss and expected us to have a load of creditors like most clubs in this position such as food providers, medical suppliers, rent on properties, taxes etc. We have none of that.
Our losses come from a massive wage bill (still one of the lowest in the division) which we fund with a player sale or two.
I’ve been saying on here for years when we sell a player such as Grigg, that the money can’t just be re-invested by buying someone else. A) we don’t get it in one lump sum (this has happened once in 15 years when we sold Valencia) and B) it goes towards plugging the gap from wages.
9 August 2020 at 7:31 pm #188650Just heard that Ian Lenegan has made a bid for the stadium directly to the Chinese owners. Don’t know how much truth is in it but just checked the warriors boards and it’s on there
9 August 2020 at 7:33 pm #188651Don’t think it is theres to sell anymore
9 August 2020 at 8:48 pm #188652Don’t think it is theres to sell anymore
That in itself would be an illegal move; since the club is in the hands of the administrator and the Chinese can’t just dip in and interfere with the process.
Think it also demonstrates that Pollard is not in the running for making a bid in it’s entirety and he’s now desperate to get his hands on the stadium. So much for his one sporting town crap !!!
9 August 2020 at 9:01 pm #188653It’s clearly just nonsense LHL so I wouldn’t read too much into it
9 August 2020 at 9:04 pm #188654Lol no chance pollard is skint just wurriors swith wishfull thinking
9 August 2020 at 9:38 pm #188655Although the above might just be a pile of steaming hot stuff cows make if no new potential owners take over soon the admins will 10000% start to listen to offers from the ground to the towels up Euxton.
Never forget, it’s all about paying creditors off. They don’t let emotion rule their heads. If they did they wouldn’t last 30 seconds in this game. -
