Portsmouth early thoughts….

Jacobs not much better, too many up in the air nothing balls, crossing poor, nobody creating anything at the moment.

Presuming Colclough and Grigg must be injured.

I would have thought this was our biggest challenge from the remaining fixtures so that would normally require the strongest starting 11 so why did Grigg, James and Colclough not start. Unless they are all injured.

Well it shows 3 changes make a big difference. Fair play to Blackburn and Shrewsbury.they are forcing a pressure cooker.

He was shocking. As we’re most of them today. A bad day at the office? Knocked the drinks machine over on the foyer as they shut up shop, too.

I said we couldn’t afford another slip up like this, but we but we may just get away with it. These next 3 games now, no room for pissing about. Win good, win ugly. we were never good enough today, never looked like a good side. And they were mediocre. Makes it all the worse. Debatable penalty, and an absolute piss poor goal. I’m loathe to single out individuals, but Elder was shite, Massy was shite, Jacobs was poor, Vaughan was shite, and the midfield were second best. Corners and set pieces were shocking.

A lot of work at training this week.

I’ll put it in simple terms.
We were in the position that we could afford to lose two games, even in the unlikely situation that Rovers and Shrews won every single one of their remaining games.
Well, we’ve lost one, but we still have another loss we could cope with AND they have to win everything.
That’s not “game over” in my mind – but then again I’m not a manic depressive.
