Firstly hats of to all the Wigan fans who travelled down to Bournemouth today, but to watch that was painful that ref was garbage worst referring i`ve seen , penalty my big fat arse (and its big), hand ball against Beausejour (never in a month of Sundays), don`t get me started on sending off (deserved to go and punishment delivered against Newcastle) but 2day common sense please( poor lads a marked man ),can go on and on and on, we all know it was a poor performance but that ref was CRAP.
Agree about the ref,but you can say the same about the attacking performance of our team.3 proper shots(not headers from set pieces) at goal in 96 mins and only 1 on target.Lets move on and try to take it out on Doncaster.

That was a really poor display.
They were a poor side and we gifted them 3 points with an appalling back pass.
We created very little and I’m struggling to grasp the tactics.Pass it about a bit then hoof it up the pitch seemed to be the order of the day???

If it was a centre half kicking the ball into touch end of subject, Not a sending off.Considering Ian Harte went in with studs showing earlier, and connected at shoulder height with only a yellow card to show for it, I’d say a yellow would have been more appropriate.
The penalty was not given for handball was it, Beausejour missed the ball and kicked the Bournemouth player in his stomach, it would have been a foul anywhere else on the pitch, the McManaman tackle was similar to the lad at Barnsley, no better no worse and most thought he should have been sent off.
The main concerns today were how many times Beausejour was off side when he didn’t need to be and should have been looking down the line, the poor passing and the hoof ball because of the lack of creativity.

Think that’s crap, the ref I think had them on the coupon, agree about our little Chilean friend, against Barnsley I thought he had a half decent game, but as a previous comment said about the shoulder high tackle on Maloney in my eyes that was worse, it shows everyone has different opinions on the same tackle.
The ref was poor but so was McMananmans challenge and he can really have no complaints.
His reaction was poor as well. I just hope his language wasn’t as bad as it looked because to lose him for 3 will be bad enough.
Footballs getting to soft, IS to soft if that’s how people r thinking, I’m probably better watching rugby union, as to his language that’s scousers for you I really believe ’cause he got the ball he feels hard done by and showed his frustration
I agree it is too soft these days.
But…………. Players know the rules these days and bearing in mind what he got away with last season it was a bit stupid to dive in and make that kind of challenge.Particularly with the ref we had today.
He’d only been on the pitch 5 minutes so he shouldn’t have had time to get so wound up really.
