Do you know summat we dont egg lad?
Just a feeling
3 December 2020 at 7:10 am #190145Far too late in the day to be messing about with other bids , they need to get the Spanish deal over the line surely.
I am now very very concerned about the future of the club and long since past caring about the dreadful results on the pitch.3 December 2020 at 10:07 am #190146Only if it’s the right thing to do that.
I don’t want someone taking over “just because”
This comes down to the admins extending exclusivity time and time again. We’re stuck at the minute.
3 December 2020 at 11:41 am #190147The Spanish seem to know what’s needed and have already spoke to players they want to bring in. Trouble is the pricks EFL these players wont hang around forever waiting for it to go through.
3 December 2020 at 12:58 pm #190148The Spanish are not going away soon!
Wigan Athletic’s Spanish bidders say they are prepared to wait as long as it takes to get the green light – even if that means having to drag the club back up from League Two.https://www.wigantoday.net/sport/fo…-wigan-athletic-even-league-two-3056396?r=471
4 December 2020 at 9:59 am #190149We have to stay with the Spanish bid and my gut feeling is they seem to have good ethics and have already stumped up the cash already.
Pressure needs to be applied to the EFL to get this done especially as we need players in and also could be welcoming crowds back in a matter of weeks.
Worrying times4 December 2020 at 5:50 pm #190150If the efl dont feel they have the money (loans indicate they don’t) to support the club (that isnt the admins call ti make) or they find something out about themthey don’t like, why should they out them through?
They should only be put through if they are the right choice.
4 December 2020 at 6:13 pm #190151I’d find it extremely strange if their dodgey or theyve no cash considering they’ve been involved with the Spanish FA for 10 years + and they’ve put a considerable deposit down.
If can only be the names that’s been given as owners that can be under investigation
Remember the IEC ? Choi and Way both were nothing more than stooges.
4 December 2020 at 6:25 pm #190152Yes nothing dodgy ever happens in Spanish football
4 December 2020 at 8:37 pm #190153If the Spanish bid fails, who is going to step up to the plate and pay the bills for the
rest of the season and proof of funding us for the next 2 Seasons?4 December 2020 at 10:10 pm #190154https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55195930
Where does this leave you?
4 December 2020 at 11:11 pm #190155Its took two months for those cnuts to knock it back. If anybody else steps forward and we use that as the next takeover timescale the Jan window will come and go and so will we without a filthy rich new owner.
5 December 2020 at 12:21 am #190156“Get the Spanish in”
Turns out they’re as useless as the goons.
So do we want Pollard or no club?
5 December 2020 at 2:05 am #190157The Spanish bidders may well have their faults,
but they were the FIRST to put their money on the table
and they have been funding the club.
They have been put through the Spanish Inquisition
by the EFL, who are ‘Faultless’ at this ‘fit and proper test’ lark.
Step forward the ‘SimCity’ bidder and any other bidders
and put your money on the table and let the EFL give you
a good ‘going over’ to see if you can beat the EFL at this
‘Snakes and Ladders’ game on who wins the Latics prize.
5 December 2020 at 6:59 am #190158And why were they rejected ?, we as fans need to know how and what made the EFL come to the decision to reject the Spanish offer.
Me personally I’m quite happy. Alarm bells rang when they wanted the 840k for a 5% share. By all amounts they didn’t gave a pot of gold and were looking at the youth in our club.
Most of the youth need time, time we don’t have and with the vast majority of them are out of contract in the summer were would we stand then ??. We sold and released nearly every experienced pro at the club, we need at least half a dozen “decent” pro’s in.The other problem, wage cap. Most clubs have a large proportion of thier squad already tied (pre wage cap) to contracts so they are not affected as much were as we will be limited to how much with new signings.
Right so.. let’s see,
Who’s all mouth no trousers? Frampton or Rowland. Pick up your ball sack and dump it the EFL table, biggest wins or were you simply blasting off thinking you’d never get to the front of the queue ?.
The saga has only just begun
