But its my choice what I spend the last of my money on after the mortgage car insurance bills food etc.
You might have to explain those items a bit more fully for a fiduciary-challenged friend ;)
Funny that you (wrongly) accuse me of second guessing people’s circumstances, but are more than happy to make assumptions about me based on my age.
I guess the word hypocrite doesn’t appear in your book.
You are guessing about people’s circumstances.
I was guessing about your age based on your user name – was I close?
You have demonstrated a complete lack of understanding about real world financial arrangements.
No hypocrisy from me.
You are also guessing that my financial situation because of my age, whilst at the same time accusing me of guessing about people’s financial situation. Hypocrisy.
Apparently, 23 year olds can’t have a mortgage, rent, bills, food etc. to pay. Although I’m not actually 23.
Last word on this. I never once said people can’t have mortgages at 23. What I said was that you seem to have no grasp of how difficult it is for some people to juggle all those finances. Still strugglig to see the hypocrisy.
You have made several assumptions about my financial situation, such as receiving pocket money from my mam. Tongue in cheek or not they are assumptions. At the same time you accused me of make assumptions about people’s finances because I wish our fans weren’t so apathetic.

That is hypocrisy.
I may have made assumptions about your financial situation. I had to, as I had no information.
You, however, were given actual financial reasons from three different people as to why they chose Wembley over West Brom and you still had the arrogance to tell them how to run their lives.
That is nothing to do with hypocrisy. I hope you didn’t take English and Finance at college.
Ross, I can understand where you are coming from and I think you’re wasting your time arguing with them especially that Griff bloke who is a smartarse who doesn’t like coming out second best in arguments. He reminds me a bit of that bloke Karl Pilkington in An Idiot Abroad though I must admit some of his posts can be quite witty.

I didn’t tell anyone how to run their lives. I’m talking about our fanbase at large, and a generic unnamed person who can afford Wembley. Just because I reply to somebody’s post, does not mean the contents of my next post refer explicitly to the quoted poster.

I’ve never seen any of Karl Pilkington’s posts
Smartarse. I await a lecture on how to properly construct a sentence. I was actually referring to some of your post being quite witty.
As the instigator of this thread that has gone wildly off piste, I shall attempt to bookend it with my 2 penneth!
It’s not just financial reasons though.
I can afford to go to both, but given that I’m going to Wembley twice in a month and to Wembley, Arsenal and home to Villa all in the space of a week, and probably watching the Swansea game in the pub, and at least one away game hopefully in a random remote city in Europe, I think it’s only fair to my wife and 2 young kids that I spend some time at home with them.
In fact, having been to the semi, experienced new Wembley and got into Europe I was even considering not going to the final and enjoying the occasion at home with family and friends on a big screen and with a BBQ as I wanted to share the experience with my kids. The 5.15 kick off and peer pressure put paid to that though ;)
Yes the team needs our supportand would no doubt benefit more from 3000 rather than 1000, but even though I could be there I won’t as often other things, financial and non financial, are more important.
