No thanks. We managed to palm him off to you last January, having seen how shit he is.
9 January 2019 at 10:47 pm #175010Rotherham expected to be in a relegation scrap. What did we expect?
Cupwinners – you said that Cook doesn’t fancy Grigg in one post and then in the next said surely Cook has a say in who we sell. Make your mind up pal. He either wants him or he doesn’t.
9 January 2019 at 11:03 pm #175011See what happens Sat and how we manage the window. Come end of month we’ll have an idea what lies ahead. Then again our boy wonder should be there to contribute his 60 mins of mediocrity (this season) so all the members of Cooks Cult will be full of joyful optimism. No I didn’t expect to be in a relegation scrap if you did then your making it up as we go along.A few weeks ago it was “there are 8 teams between us and the bottom 3″……care to have a little peek again ??

Or perhaps he dumped you knowing you were heading for League 1.

We are out of the relegation places and that’s where we want to be. I suggest your making it up when you say we are in a relegation scrap. When and if we hit the relegation places we will be in a scrap, until then we will just have to listen you and the moaners harping on about how we will soon be in there.

What a journey!9 January 2019 at 11:29 pm #175015Hang on though.
If Grigg is a proven League One scorer, but not so much so in the Championship, then why if we are as some would have it destined back down would we get rid of him?
Won’t we need him.
What a load of tosh.
Even if Sunderland have bid for him, and I’m not convinced as these things tend to be fairly confidential despite social media “my friend’s hairdresser’s cat” sort of posts, it doesn’t mean at all they will get him.
We could bid for Messi but wouldn’t get him.
Mind you, some on here would still moan if we did.9 January 2019 at 11:36 pm #175016That’s it Mr Ostrich……just don’t look as it not really happening. Most people I speak to would call a relegation scrap being 2,3,4 places above bottom 3……and yip that’s us ..But please tell me …..Nickys back end Jan….

The best, yes the fekin best player in the championship, he plays for your team and you mock him. Hanging your head in shame sunbeam.
If he only plays 20 games a season, I’d have him in my squad and so would 95% of all Latics fans I would suggest.
Moan, moan fekin moan, Mr Barrelloflaughs personified. I bet you already have your after match moan post drafted ready to just press the button at 5:05pm Saturday if we lose. Tee heeFrom Matlock to ManU
What a journey!10 January 2019 at 12:27 am #175019If anybody is feeling disgruntled then just make your voices heard on Saturday.
Hopefully we may hear something from Jim and Anthony soon as well.10 January 2019 at 12:37 am #175020That’s it Mr Ostrich……just don’t look as it not really happening. Grigg and Powell playing regularly would have had us in a completely different league position. Powell has class written through him and we need to hear news of him being signed
up. If those two had had a good run at it last time we went down, we wouldn’t have gone down.10 January 2019 at 12:40 am #175021I expected to be in a relegation scrap this season and we may well be next season as well until we get the squad of players together we want and then again if a few get sold we could be back to square 1.
I think it’s 20 teams in this league have a bigger budget than we do.
10 January 2019 at 12:42 am #175022By all accounts Sunderland haven’t just popped up in the last two days, it’s been ongoing for the a number of weeks which is probably one of the reasons why he’s not seen much action.
Don’t blame the Division were in on how many goals Griggs has scored in the Championship, blame your manager who thinks it’s best to wack it up to him on the half way line then ask him to run past 2 centre halfs then score a worldy from outside the box, every week please if you don’t mind.
Playing to the players strengths is the way Cook is fcukin clueless at that.
Like I said, it doesn’t give a fcuk who we sign because the Cook style of play will send us down that’s unless the new owners are offloading about £30 million to the club
And Powell the best yes best player in the Championship ?, Granted a very good player but the best player?? fcukin give me strength you are truly on the verge of blowing off every player while they sign the top of your head.10 January 2019 at 12:53 am #175023How the hell came anyone put Garner/Windass/Vaughan ahead of him is staggeringI’d agree with that – Grigg has his faults (which tend to be more exposed at a higher level – over a prolonged period & not a one off game like City) but my God, he’s got far more about him than those 3 combined
All Garner seems to want to do is kick off
Aside from the odd decent game, Windass is painfully slow & limited skill wise
Vaughan might be alright as an impact sub in the last 10 minutes when you’re bombarding the opponents box, but put him in from the start & he’s woeful10 January 2019 at 12:58 am #175024Suppose won’t be many players played for atop 4 club in Champions league in Championship so hard to say Powell isn’t amongst top few in league.
