Have to agree with loudmouth here, Constant lack of effort should deserve a boo every now and again, that first half was a very half hearted performance and warranted some displeasure being shown. After all they came out fighting second half so it did serve some purpose.
I must of been watching a different game, When Gomez wasn’t rolling about on the floor he was giving the ball away or being caught in possession. I think it’s a good shout by the club that, The festive period is hectic enough already and on present form Bolton would have probably snatched that tonight, So hopefully when we play em next we have a better squad and its playing with confidence. Plus on the plus side for me, Im working nights this week and ive been p’eed off for days knowong i was missing it. Roll on Blackburn. Could work to our advantage having a game in hand over our rivals for a couple of months mentally.
Unfortunatley though defence a little edgy again, But on the whole i would have took 2 goals and a point at Stoke, Figgy’s goal speaks for itself and Gomez was brilliant, Just shows what he can do with a bit of time and space. We bossed the game in the last two thirds however like i say we a lacking at the back, God help us against Torres. Very happy with the performance though.

WHAT, After a season, How many players have you seen play for Wigan, Cattermole was ok, Just a bit tough and steely, Doesn’t make him a world beater. One of the best my arse. Id take Bullard, Greenhall, Martinez e.t.c any day over him.

North End was a good un at home around the earl 90’s,Sneaked in over the astro turf and legged it into the Shevvy end persued by about 4 stewards. As we legged it into the entrance to the stand all the tics fans were making passages for us to pass through and get lost in the crowd then closing up when we went through. I remember all the chaps wetting themselves all shouting in little pockets of the crowd, they are over here, or over there. It was like a bunch of cat’s after a couple of mice. All the stewards looking like dumbarses with gaunt looks on their faces.
