Dave has an unfortunate chemical imbalance in his brain which leads to peaks and troughs of mood.
Every two to three months, he goes off the deep end, manifest in his posts where he gets aggressive, dismissive of others and TOTALLY* sure of his own superiority.
When he comes to, he simply invents a new username to ‘hide’** behind and starts the cycle again, at first being pseudo-apologetic and nice.
* Caps lock is a telltale sign.
** Unfortunately his writing style always betrays him in tens mins flat.Here we go again nothing, like it or not you have to accept where we stand in the big picture. We have to find a balance. We have spent since January not far off 20 million at a guess. Yes we have made more than that from player sales but we also have a debt of 60 million to service.We have the lowest gates in the league, the cheapest prices yet people want us to lash millions on players all the time?
Maybe we could do what Portsmouth have done? Newcastle? Or even worse Leeds?

Well said that man. All this bollocks about ‘the future of the club in jeapordy’ is pure hogwash. If we were breaking the bank to stay up, then I’d be worried about the club.
All you who are castigating Whelan for not spending £10M+ on a striker should weigh up the cost of him *giving* us the stadium he paid for**. That’s far better for the security of the club long term than buying a lad who could break his leg walking the dog…
**Before anyone starts, I didn’t say he solely paid for the stadium, but his contribution wasn’t in monopoly money.
In similar vein to your letter loudmouth, can I ask who these supporters are who think that £6/£8 MILLION pounds sterling is a paltry sum? Let me tell you sir, that amount can buy enough meat pies to save Africa; it’s far from paltry.
I also draw your attention to the following statement, “I am a realist”. I put it to you sir that rather than a realist, you are a champ-manager playing chimp.
