For me I think he has been in the job too long and believes he is bigger than the club – after having famously stated to the press that no-one is bigger than the club)….however, like you Tyldesley I don’t know enough about the ‘foreign psych’ when it comes to fans rivalry and support abroad but I suspect it can be on a par like ours particularly when it comes to the European super clubs – the analogy which best describes outbursts like this is when making a comparison to (the majority) of Scotland supporters who go out of their way to ‘support’ any team that are playing against England – their hatred is filthy.
I disagree though with your last point because I do think that any team in the last 16 of the competition represents the cream of the league from which they ply their trade – for if they don’t then we are on the next step to the elitist ‘Super European League’ so many have talked about in the past……and that would not be good for football – in any country.

It is understandable the need to see your competitors go the way of the ‘grave’ however, for me I take no pleasure in seeing some french, spanish, kraut….etc (you get my drift – ind in small letters) team win a prestigious trophy. Whoever it is (and it is now left to the southern muppets) I would prefer it to stay in this league……this is, after all, what we are trying to promote.

I can sense that the pressure on the manager, players, supporters and even the Darkest of the DS’s on here has gone from state of red alert, to a feeling of calm, collected, positiveness, togetherness kind of thing. It’s amazing what one win and 3 nurps can do.errrrmmm…Not exactly…We’re not expected to win games against the big teams like Arsenal but we did last season and still only managed to survive in the Premiership because of a freak result on the last day of the season. Why don’t we start games with the same urgency to win as we did when we were behind against Arsenal last season. Basing the game on keeping possession of the ball isn’t the way to win games or entertain the fans which has been my gripe since Martinez took over. I don’t have a problem with watching a losing side as long as I can see they’re trying to win the game to their best abilities. I’m sure the players currently at the club are good enough to win and entertain in more games but I feel they’re being stifled by the managers’s tactics.

They tend to count them twice in Norwich, when in actual fact spouse, sibling, and cousin on a Norwich census is one and the same person.
Also, as census returns are probably never received in Liverpool, one would have to assume that most household consist of one parent families, with at least one brown child.

As I asked Rodbomb earlier If he was James C I do feel compelled to ask you are you Griff? . Rodbombs answer was unsatisfactory in my eyes as he said he had heard that he went to live in Tenerife but we all know he came back again and was seeing some bird from Reading who he had met over there. I know this because he rammed it down anybody who would listen’s throat’s on here. It was made out by him that he and said Girlfriend was the best couple since Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor.
