VAT is right……..they have sold their total allocation and if their boards are anything to go by we should see ‘several hundred’ or so getting tickets for our ends as well. One jerk has bought several tickets and will be ‘touting’ them outside at grossly inflated prices – great fans eh!

Oh! and some other clowns plan to bring with them some flares…….now don’t get me wrong I’m no ‘fuddy duddy’ but I’ve seen it when these things go wrong……… at Cagliari and at PSG (not pretty).

We need to be in fine voice on Saturday because these guys won’t stop for the entire ninety minutes and with their recent four signings today (whoever they are) they seem to think they are in with a chance of tonking us on the day.

      Bring ’em on I say…………………..oh and 20157

Serious question..do you post this via a phone app by any chance?

Mr Walker……whilst we all enjoy a certain ‘Irish’ lilt, a little whiskey from that oak vat from the sixties (perhaps) we may gain more information if we visit his personal website:

Oh!,before the ‘oooh! you got home quick’ brigade jump up and down….I’m actually still on my jollies (abroad), there is a serious ‘forfeit’ I have conceded to Mrs Micky to allow me to watch this game………….and after that performance it’s going to be…………… well a bit ‘different’ – aftersun has its uses after all.

          Roll on the glorious fourteenth.

Mine’s arrived today and I am very, very disappointed.

For about the tenth year on the spin I have been given a seat facing the pitch :( You’d think loyalty would be worth something

You’re disappointed? ………….. Found that I’m still within hearing distance of the ‘V’s grumbling (what price loyalty eh?)

Only kidding Griff…..I bl00dy can’t believe I just got a ‘cotter round the head’ from Mrs Micky for doing this on our jollies – ah well off to spend the rest of the euro’s in a bar not too far from here.

It’s funny how different people hear things differently isn’t it? Sky must have been pestering the club today for a line on the rumours that Sunderland are about to whisk Chalres N’Zogbia away for ten bob and a bag of grapes. Eventually they get rentaquote on the line, but there’s obviously no story in the news that N’Zogbia is happy at Latics and happy playing for Bobby so what they going to do?

I know let’s miss out loads of what was actually said so it sounds like all the lad has to do is ask nicely and we’d let him sign for Wigan Robin Park on the promise that they’ll take it easy on us in next week’s friendly. But if you were going to do that surely you wouldn’t be daft enough to then play the full interview.

Sky bloke “Whelan says that they don’t won’t to sell the midfielder but will do if the player wants to leave”

Two minutes later Mr Whelan actually says “if a top six club comes in for him, pays enough money and he wants to leave, then we’ll let him go”

I think Whelan’s stuck between to minds, his own and Bobby’s.

Oh how i love the youngsters using old phrases like ‘ten bob’…it’s as if they were there themselves………stop it now.

“Sky Bloke” said this….blah blah f£ckin blah

Not even wanting to corect your obvious speling mestakes – you are now boring (rather than being an enigma – sh!t songs as well)

As for “two minutes later Mr Whelan actually says……”….. oh f£ckin dear, oh dear.

Having watched some very good ‘trolls’ (and some very entertaining ones to boot)….you rate way down there – clump (or chump if you want).

Having just renewed my season ticket i am now having doubts over the reason why. Once again we are selling our best players. Cant blame the players, as it has been said loads of times most of us would move jobs for more money etc…..

But bloody hell, buying a season ticket is like going to into comet and asking for a washing machine, and the bloke in the shop digging one out from the back you have never seen

Its not saying its going to be a rubbish one, it might even be a cracker, but you are buying blind, like us with our season tickets, who knows what we will be watching nexrt season, a top notch Bosch or a Beko ( i am not an expert on these things!) but you get my drift.

OOOOh! get you. Look at me I’ve got a washing machine….

…Just watched his interview on SSN and he looks like he’s ready to throw the towel in before the season starts.

Talking about the possibility of them being relegated before christmas and finding it impssible to sign the targets he wants.

I think from seeing that some posters on here would be more at home supporting the tangerines. :o

I agree JR…..Blackpool are in meltdown at the moment. Holloway stated at the begining that he had 17 targets yet he has only managed to sign one. I think he is being held back by his ‘masters’ and continues to be frustrated – they will be ‘gone’ by Christmas and Holloway will be just another name on their ever increasing list of past managers. Then there is the Fulham calamity….Jol not taking the job (however it’s couched) and the mention of Dave from Cardiff taking over would put them into a relegation dogfight. I would also consider us to be better too than Wolves this season…..ergo I see us safe yet again but with me having to shave off more grey hair (again).

True, although I seem to remember another Premiership club asking us for a huge favour only last week.

Yes,and they should get fined for not having their ground ready. If a club who had got promoted to the league would of had the same problem, they’d have been fined, and possibly had points deducted.

Blackpool have had since MAY to get things sorted. The last picture I saw, dated July 9th, showed that they didn’t even have any foundations in place for a new stand, temporary, or permanent. All they had done is clear the temporary stand that they had there, and it was just a strip of soil. I mean, come on, if you’re in the Premiership, you have to shape yourself. And it’s not like builders are inundated with work, is it? By July 9th, they should of been close to completion, never mind not even started.

However, I’m glad it’s been moved, as it could of been a banana skin. Tight ground, cup match atmosphere, and very outnumbered away support, as they have sold 11,000 season tickets out of the 12,000 capacity. Now we play them at home, I hope we can give them a warm welcome to the Premiership……in the manner of a 3-0 defeat.
Fair points their VAT, particulalry about points etc…..the way Blackpool are dealing with their new stand is a complete joke. Colleague of mine see’s it (or lack of it) on a regular basis. It would appear as if they have brought with them a certain ‘thriftiness’ only experienced here in our home town (if you catch my drift). Mr Oysten could give lessons (even here).

Have a little look at their site AVFTT and see what is happening – I’ve been spreading a little ‘happiness’ amongst them and now they are all at it – doom and gloom – no money…no players….no future….so if we don’t give them a ‘seeing to’ on the first day then we need to have a long hard look at ourselves.

Go on…..get over there, log in and give them the benefit of your ‘special’ points of view. Bit of light entertainment.

Just been on the AVFTT (Blackpool) website (well playing about with them really over the last week or so) and their newest poll is “which team will finish below us this season” to which a resounding response is that we will. Go on then, those that like a little tease or two…have a play about with them (they are lightweights though) and see if you can spot who I am on there.

                        Bl00dy young pups……

Can you blaim them for thinking that ? They battered us 4-1 last season
They battered our youth/reserve team on that windy night in Blackpool and it was ‘pre-season’ – young man.

Did you go………or was it too far for you to travel?

Get fixtures off Internet then print them off and attach them to your fridge with a fridge magnet hey presto !

whoa……….hang on you might have something here Fil.

Pick fridge up, place in back pocket……………it’s Friday night off to th’Anvil. Discuss plans for away games with mates – who are visibly impressed with your fridge magnet from Zante, as you’ve got fixtures with you………..lads decide it’s time to go into town – nay probs place beer in fridge, slip back into back pocket and enjoy cool ale in between ale houses………Quality eh!

JR sorry about first fixture but if you do go could you let us know how they’re doing with that poxy temporary meccano stand they seem to be putting up. Cheers man.

jimmy bullard did not want to leave us FACT, when he signed his new contract just before our first premiership game v chelsea he had a clause in it to increase his wages with a contract extention if we stayed up, latics chose not to honour it and to make him available, they did a deal with fulham, bullard told paul jewell he didnt want to leave and was told he wasnt wanted, how do i know bullard himself told a number of people including myself in the starr inn in lymm after a fishing match that i was in along with bullard,
one of the lads who i was with that night,a fishing acquaintance,is still mates with bullard , i saw this person on saturday and bullards name cropped up in our conversation,he told me that hull were trying to off load him and his wages and only celtic wanted him,he had been up for a look round at celtic but decided he didnt want to go there, hull basically told him he was going like it or not,fo bullard has dug his heels in and refused.

now that may or may not be why he is demanding more money ,my contact only said he didnt want to go there – it just shows that sometimes there is more to the murky world of pro football than what the clubs/players/press tell us.

Hmmmmm! interesting story Mr Loudmouth, however, it’s not been written with your usual panache…………
