Yes, him & Scharner will officially leave June 1st, my birthday, so convenient :)According to reports Wigan Athletic are taking an interest in Borussia Dortmund and Paraguay forward Nelson Valdez.
The 26 year old striker joined Dortmund from Werder Bremen in 2006 where he had spent five seasons making 113 appearances and scoring 31 goals for the Bundesliga club, in his time with current employers he has made 112 appearances scoring just 16 goals.
Valdez has Champions League experience with Werder Bremen and he has also made 42 international appearances for Paraguay scoring 8 times.

They basically ran on to the field after seeing their team reach the play off finals at wembley FFS. Didn’t our youngsters do that on the last game of the season?I know they’ve been a bad lot in the past, or should I say some of them have, but having a go for simply running onto the pitch is as bit much. :roll:

Melchiot & Scharner officially left Wigan now. Martinez may look to agree a new short term deal with Pollitt if Alex Smithies goes to Stoke City insted of the Latics.
