From where I could see Martinez was showing passion during the game, talking to the players constantly (whether they were listening is another thing) when they made simple mistake he was talking and encouraging.
Of course our problem is lack of depth and no real competition. But that will be solved in January (We hope).
Yeah, I can see us spending about £12 million on Bentley, £7 million on Anton Ferdinand, signing Benny McCarthy for £2 million, and taking Darren Gibson on a season long loan……………
No, sorry, I actually meant I can see us signing Williams from Swansea (after a prolonged transfer wrangle), signing some second division Spanish player or some Honduran, labelled as “one for the future”, and making “unsuccessful bids” for 57 other players, according to numerous sources, with Brenda Spencer telling a packed press conference that “We actually missed out on signing Paul Scholes on loan, because it was a choice between faxing the form before the deadline, or going to the toilet. And I needed a wee.”
No doubt Dungeonmaster will be too busy sunning himself with Sir Cliff “Huh, Hi Dave. Fancy a game of tennis? huh”, and drinking Daquiri’s on his verandah, to be too concerned. No doubt he’ll have a soundbite or two to offer Sky, by direct sattelite link, though.
ow do vat, dont forget the crocked 1 we always sign aswell, last time we had a lucky escape 4mill for bodde huw davis must be gutted it didnt go throughPeople keep on going on about how martinez loves the club with a passion, well i wish he could show some on the touch line instead of standing there with his arms folded, know wonder the players have no direction. prime example yest the birmingham touch line never stopped,
before you stick the knife in bob you want to look at the so called captain mario, yesterday brums second goal went in there was no shouting or rally call to the rest of the team walked away with his head up his own Kaiber, this mon not good enough shouldnt be in team and shouldnt be captain
Could you please tell me of a better right back at the club please?
Maybe we should get Ryan Taylor back.
you must be easily pleased if your willing to see players i.e mario pull on our great clubs shirt getting paid thousands of pounds ,when all he needs to do his turn up,People keep on going on about how martinez loves the club with a passion, well i wish he could show some on the touch line instead of standing there with his arms folded, know wonder the players have no direction. prime example yest the birmingham touch line never stopped, before you stick the knife in bob you want to look at the so called captain mario, yesterday brums second goal went in there was no shouting or rally call to the rest of the team walked away with his head up his own arse, this mon not good enough shouldnt be in team and shouldnt be captain
I think Jewell’s got too much pride to return as a number 2.And then, if Jewell was basically running the show, what would be the point of Martinez?
May as well have him greeting corporate guests and having photo’s with them at their tables in the executive lounge’s.
no what i mean vat is ,when you watch bob are listen to him speak he doesnt come across as someone who can b o l l o c k the players and put fire in there bellys we all know jones and barrow as the hard man but you never see them on the touchline barking instructions and rail roading anybody.Bob would be incharge but jewell tells it as it his,and would install some fear into the team.An example, camara came with a bad rep was subbed one game stormed off up tunnel pj went after him he didnt storm off up the tunnel again and i think thats what we need
Martinez is OK. Backroom staff are not good enough to support him.
Bruce wasn’t that brilliant – Eric Black made him look good.
Jewell had Hutchings. Not great managers themselves – but excellent number 2s (oo er matron).
Graeme Jones is the weak link, I’m afraid – not Roberto.
Don’t you think that youth coach, Dave Watson, should be promoted to first team involvement? Most experienced member of kids, messing about with the kids. I think he should be working on tightening that defence up.
vat mate , what about jewell as bobs number 2,my bet is wolves and portsmouth bolton will escape on the last day of the seasonwhy do you bother supporting us if your so negative,we have just got into december and you have got us down for relegation already. If you think bolton will escape go and support them because we dont need supporters like you who start writing us off theres still along way to go beating villa, chelsea and burnley who hadnt been beaten at turf moor wernt flooks,so lets wait and see who he brings in in jan
reat where to start, brum in the 1st half are the worst team i have seen at the dw this season, i will stand by bob no matter what but what i will not stand for is players who really dont give a cak or are not good enough.I watched scotland today very closely and on way home got into an argument with no doubt a jcl,he said scotland made the zoggie goal my reply was no 1 only you mate must have known he was going to shoot because i never saw it coming all in all scotland contributed nothing ,mario dosent deserve to be captain or playing not good enough now and his body language to the rest of the team is to say the least disgusting, scharner i thought was superb. Now dw slated owen in the press saying he wasnt good enough for the prem but we can shell out 4 mill plus on king got no return and 3mill on scotland and will not get any return,we could have signed owen on a free and some off the 8 mill spent on cak would have paid his wages and even if he would have only played 5 games upto this point he would have scored more than scotland.Keep your mouth shut dw and get your hand in your pocket and bring some qaulity in and get shut of the dead wood players and backroom staff, that includes jones and barrow :x
We’ve just had Michael Ball on trial, and for whatever reason***, he failed to impress.
So our next step is to give a trial to a teenager (Moses Barnett) from Everton. How on earth, can a teenager from Everton, with no experience other than a loan spell at the League’s bottom club, Darlington, actually impress more than an experienced professional, who has played loads of top flight games, and played in Europe with PSV Eindhoven, and Glasgow Rangers? Can anyone explain that to me?
You get the feeling that Roberto thinks that he will lose Figueroa in January, and I really think he will be sold. So we need a straight replacement, someone who can go straight into the side, not somebody who will be ‘alright in a season or two’.
Again, this all reeks of penny-pinching. Firstly, a free agent in Ball, and then a young kid in this Barnett. Well here’s a not so subtle hint to Roberto and Whelan:
Why not bloody try spending some?
Anybody else thinking the same?
*** Could the reason be Ball’s wage demands?
ball has already had 3 trials at lower league clubs so if he cant get in there why his he good enough for us, and so far this season all weve heard his bobs signings are cak
may just take a strole down there if i can come up with an excuse, may not be that easy though got slaughterd sunday afternoon. Now in the dog house
have you seen them already fil

Whelan has done great for the Tics but he has also done well out of us. The advertising for JJB’s from sponsorship of the stadium and shirts for 10 years for the buttons the club recieved and now the DW stadium.
Priceless!!!!!!
So lets not kid ourselves it has been a labour of love he is not one of us he is a business man pure and simple.
do you do the adverts for m&s priceless!!!!!!!toon fans could learn alot from this,i mean all the protests they have had and got nowhere
