I’m sure we’d get to put them there if we had them.
Fair play to them, the rugby fans, have been organized designed them themselves and chipped in and paid for all of those out of their own pockets.
That said they’ve been left up all summer, day and night, so if anyone needs some extra bbq fuel over the summer……………………..
“We have been asked by Wigan Athletic and the DW Stadium to change the Huddersfield home game to the Sunday to accommodate the change in the Premier League fixture the day before. We are more than happy to assist in this and would like to thank Huddersfield Giants for their agreement to switch the fixture to Sunday.”
I wonder if there owner really is “more than happy to assist”.
They do finally seem to realise where they stand though.
Wouldnt be just the stadium lease that says that. Premier League rules even say that –
Ground Sharing 4. No Club shall have or enter into a ground-sharing agreement unless the agreement contains
a legally enforceable provision to the effect that the playing of the Club’s League Matches shall always take precedence over the activities of the other party to the agreement.Dont see why they would to be honest, they’ll sell out those seats to “home” fans easily enough.
New stand down that side of the pitch is going to hold 5500 but will be split between home and away fans.
It been officially announced as having been switched?
Seen the story on the NOTW website………………….but it’s the NOTW at the end of the day.
Hayley, the singer, is 22 and recently “accidentally” posted a topless photo of herself on Twitter.
What more is there to know ? ;)
WEP website said there were only 2500-3000 there last night too :(
Schools are even giving away tickets for free.
None of them who are on this week are my thing but if thats all that are turning up then i cant see any more gigs by major artists in Wigan any time soon, which is a shame.
Squads – http://www.mastersfootball.com/mastersc … mersey.htm
Jonesy stuck at Heathrow apparently so isnt playing
Looks to me like Bent spent the summer changing his name and failing to shave
It’s making the news now

Not even the WEP could continue to bury their heads in the sand on this one.
Good to see one of the ones with a foot in both camps  claiming on the WW messageboard that if Paul Wellens celebrated at a Latics match like he celebrated St Helens victory yesterday (celebrated by kicking the ball into the crowd no less) he’d have been “killed” rather than just been pelted with coins.
Which makes it all ok and justified then……………………
Seems to be every game that they’ve been involved in this season has had something like that go on.
I blame those pesky football fans !
They are on a win bonus ……..about £500,000 a man to win the whole thing.
