edit – scrap that
Just watched the last 20mins of what i recorded from Sky – just to make sure it happened.
Even found myself tutting away at Moses for a sloppy pass that give Nasri a chance.
I watched some of it back when i got home – including the build up.
It was along the lines of –
“They try to play football, the problem is they just arent very good”
“It’s all well and good Martinez trying to play good football like he did at Swansea, but that was in a lesser league”
etc etc
Richard Keys stepped in at one point to try to dampen his criticism by suggesting we play football “the right way, and that should be admired, surely?” but Merson then went onto a rant of how West Brom etc have tried to do the same and failed and so would we.
And i thought it was Orrell who would be originally shareing the stadiumIt was.
I’d have been there at 3pm on Saturday if i hadnt spotted this :D
All Hail Sir Dave !!!!
Does this mean the pie boycott is over now ?
It’s a Premier League issue for a start so has very little/nothing to do with the FA – not sure why the FA keep getting mentioned.
Not too sure i’d believe a word Whelan says to be honest. If he’d said WW were being kicked out from next Tuesday I wouldn’t believe a word of it. Because, after-all, we are talking about Dave Whelan.
OMG i think the world is gonna end.
Or not…………
Whelan has had a rant in the Obby apparantly – “What are the Premier League going to do about kicking the rugby out? They’ve got a contract to play there”
Does it really work like that Dave ? ?
Now we can all get back to normality of us hating the cuckoo’s and them hoping we cease to be at some point in the near future while they continue to hope DW drops dead.
Is he the one who said Latics wouldn’t ever get another penny off him after Whelan kicked them out for that cup game ?
Surely Roberto chooses his assistants and not Whelan :?:
Well i did see someone claim that blaming it on Latics fans was “lower than low” so fair play to them for that, whoever they are. Lo and behold after that the thread was locked ;)
I think they should concentrate on trying to eradicate the very real, and growing, problem they seem to have with a certain section of rugby fans, rather than just trying to brush it under the carpet and blame football fans as usual.
I see over on the Cuckoos board Latics fans are getting blamed by some for a steward being attacked and having his jaw broken inside Knowsley Road on good Friday.

Telling people not to cherry pick yet just ignoring other comments like they’re not even there.
Check the council minutes of the application for the stadium, it was built for the two sports. Two sports. Football and Orrell Rugby Union wasnt it ?
Always though Warrios were only “invited” to play there once the JJB was half-built.
I’m sure you’ll correct me if i’m wrong – once you’ve done with writing to the BBC to complain about Alan Beswick :D
Feckin hell the thread about this on the rugby club messageboard is a right laugh. I’d try and set set them straight on a few points but their moderators are a bit Nazi, and thats being kind. So i’ll let someone else do it if they can successfully infiltrated them ;)
