Dont you just love this sport and “its fansthink after tonight there will be a few fans who may reply to this topic, walking away from the HJ tonight was one of the most awful experiences of my life, not just in rugby league but in my life.
Walking past the pub opposite central station (cannot remember the name) where about 20 Wigan fans, mixed sex and mix race before anyone says anything. We got marched away towards he town centre, about 10 Wire fans decided that they would make the situation heated. I foolishly decided to be peace maker between the rival fans only for one Wire fan to run at me and “stick the nut on me”.
He didnt just stop at that, after head butting me he then carried on and punched my girlfriend in the face (looks like a broken nose) I have never ever been so shocked in my life, after trying to re gain my sences i pulled everyone away and attempted to head towards the train station.
The police are involved, the warrington club have admitted that they have a huge issue with fans causing problems.
This will be taken further, anyone who decided to hit a woman should expect what is coming…..I will report more after speaking to the police again in the morning.
THE FAMILY GAME
Dont worry inspector Muttydogshoite is on the case. He has took early leave from his duty in the armforces to be with fellow peanut hugger.s after this out rageous event. get ready for door to door inquiry
Could use him for target practice :mrgreen:If He.keeps spying in on us like his doing He.ll get promoted to boot cleaner for the S.A.S

After speaking with a guy I work with who I didn’t even know was a rugby fan, I will be going with him to support the Warrington Wolves this Saturday…and it’s against out very own chubbies – quite fitting I think!
You can actually drink in the stands watching the game….quite appealing :D
I will let you know my findings..
Warrington on Saturday and The mighty latics on the Sunday….a good sporting weekend..
Come on you Warrington people thingy’s and the mighty Latics!
Well, at least your son will be happy tonight. :D :D :D :D
see you went again like you always go to the stadium of shoite   :lol:It. dont look good neither does the pitch. if its not the egg chasers why is behind the goals at both ends north stand and south totally wrecked when they only played 2 games ;) ;)
Remember them.Gassy was seen nocking around Pem not long back. They reckon them two was rum uns tha knows.Where he these days the Pem Walker?
A couple of reasoned responses above without the vitriol usually associated with this ongoing topic.
I think the reason the Bolton game was re-arranged for this period is purely financial, i.e. improved cash flow, money in the bank in early February rather than in April / May.
I also agree that the Rugby does far less damage than the football, in that the sliding tackles in football tend to dig into the pitch.
Both clubs are a victim of circumstances.
Everytime this issue is dragged up it’s by the misinformed press, at which point the RL lot go off on a tangent and portray Latics fans as a bunch of thugs who beat up their dear old granny!
Latics suffer from this press treatment week in, week out, we get a ‘poor’ crowd in the FA Cup, it’s all over the national press, you get a sub 5k crowd in the early rounds of the Challenge Cup, it isn’t even mentioned, that’s the way it goes.
Pitches always get **** up at this time of year, but most other clubs can give their pitch some rest, we can’t.
The last time the pitch was repaired it cost £500k, a SL clubs income is only a couple of million, so your rent won’t be much more that a few hundred thousand per season. Latics Premiership income is around £50m, even in the Championship it would be around the £10m+ mark.
Ultimately both clubs would be happier with seperate grounds, but unless you go through with your back-up option at a revised LSV, it isn’t going to happen.
PS, I’ve never been convinced about the football causing more damage than rugby argument, based on nothing more than myself seeing the pitch first hand. Not only are sliding tackles a thing of the past in In the we have shared with a rugby team.Blackpool Borough and they got fired off for ruining the pitch.at least we did lease em a short stay not like our lodgers who fooked them off.that shows true loyalty of the eggchasing family (poor springfield park 3 herd of cattle would,nt cause that much damage  ;) :)
The last time we had the pitch re laid if im right i hear it cost £500.000 did they who wreck it pay out towards it. if it happens again will they pay.NO not a penny.CHUBBIES OUT.TAKE LINDSEY WITH THEE  ;)
One good thing to come from tonights game if nothing else is, it must have boosted the confidence of the two new players watching him as they will have realised that they will have no problem getting a game on saturdayThey might get last 10 mins if their lucky. You know what he’s like! Just bloody obstinate the penny wont drop!
penny will drop sooner than later if not he could end up at brocal house cos tha knows no jobs are safe these days ? plenty managers on the rock and roll.my freind
Whether he was there or not, it is bang on again. Who in their right mind would pay £20+ to watch that every week unless they’re a diehard?its not a good show when ya bringing young un.s to a night match our up coming supporters and there bored stiff. its hard worked to get um come back again. we after start pickin up points now .cause i think our leader is under the light .its make or break time bobby this is your chance to proove you can do it ;) ;)
It’s all true. That miss of Scotland’s when one-on-one was a joke. elephant him off NOW!!!!we cant say he.s not had a fair crack at the whip?we need goals and he.s not the bloke to be doing it at this moment.if moses and moreno are match fit. get em in. give um a chance they cant do any worse
