Not only did Blackpool do what you would expect, come at us hard and swarm the ball, we couldnt handle it. What does Martinez teach them.The fact we havent learnt from last season make me think Martinez should go. Something needs to change or it will be a long season.

wtf was that. just got back from the game (i’m still in wigan btw) & felt i had to post straight away. i admit to being a fan of martinez last season & sticking up for him, but after that shambles i am really dreading the rest of the season. no disrepect to blackpool, but they carved us open time & again to the point where they could have won by 8. i am dreading chelsea, spurs in the next 2 games. could lightning strike twice??
i’m sorry to admit, but i booed at half time & at full time – having never booed in my life, & certainly never after the first game.
should i have waited a couple of hours before posting when i may have calmed down??
this is my 32nd season now as a supporter and although we have lost many times on the opening day, its never bothered me. but looking at the first few fixtures we could be rock bottom with -25 goal difference.
I REALLY HOPE I’M PROVED WRONG & THIS IS JUST A ONE OFF!!One Off, lets not take anything away from Seasiders they could have had seven or eight today, what will a good team hit us for shamefull double figures and that will happen.
