what the hell, i could have sworn i started this thread
I think it was me under “points needed”, strange goings on.
Planning permission costs next to nothing, probably just an off the cuff enquiry, should they ever fall out with Uncle Dave. I think the present arrangement suits both the football and rugby club and it would be costly to either club to change things.
Scharner is a centre back………end of!I think he’s better at the back but aside from Hugo’s great header the other day, apart from Caldwell, Scharner is the one who will throw himself at a cross and adds a much needed goal threat.
I have supported Wigan for a long time and I have never known as many braindead idiots go to the matches. Most of the time, i have to laugh but yesterday they took the ****. Things like; telling scharner to get up and get off, when he had just been elbowed in the neck ! constantly referring to Moreno as Mido- not even funny the first time never mind the 100th. I firmly believe that this guy thinks he really is Mido. Shouting, have a shot everytime Figuroa even looks at the ball.
Shouting Martinez this is sh***, after 3 minutes. I could go on. :roll:Stop booing, stop getting on everyones back and start supporting your football team or **** off.

Never booed the team – or anybody – but I was shouting for Scharner to get off long before he allegedly got elbowed. Stealing a living in midfield that lad, but not his fault as he has no clue how to play there.
Get him back to centre-back or out completely. Useless.
That’ll have filled him with confidence, hearing you bellowing gerof yer cak, I thought you didn’t shout negative stuff and you chose to SUPPORT the team ?
I might have seen your Sister actually ;)
Were you drunk when it happend ?
I believe the lad I knew might have been, yes ;)
I was assuming it might have been you, as nobody who did that would admit it to anyone, would they ?

Brian Laws said he thought Burnley played really well, stuck to their game plan and deserved to get something from the game, I thought 3-0 would have been a fairer reflection of the game. If that’s them playing well, god help them.
Until the last 15, or 20 minutes, it was anybody’s game.
We had a real let-off when they hit the bar through Patterson. If that had gone in, it could of been a different story.
But it didn’t, and for once, we upped our game, took control, and had some great efforts on goal, through Scotland, and Diame. Then we got the winner, which was a cracking goal.
Great result!
Hitting the top of the bar was the only real chance I can remember them having, we hit the post, Jensen made some decent saves, quite a few very close shots and a number of goalmouth scrambles. We just need to have a bit more confidence in front of goal, tried to pass it in a number of times yesterday when a shot would have seemed the best option.

He was funny, must be their top lad :P . Can’t believe the stewards just leave people to behave like that, look towards the away fans from the home stands and they’re on your case. Why do the stadium officials allow the away fans to stand all game ?
Cant for the life of me see what relevance, this has got to do with us, I couldnt care less personally if they had appointed Jose Mourino with Sven Goran Ericcson, as his assistant so long as they along with Burnley and Portsmouth finish below us why you so bothered about Hull its a Latics website, concentrate on posting positives threads about us, your username isnt Tigerview.Have we not got a little kickabout with them soon ?
Whichever direction you enter the town centre at the moment it’s a disgrace, boarded up buildings, stupid road systems, filth and scumbags, I love our town but it’s time to change the people who run it, immediately !
Personally i think that Walking into Wigan from the Pagefield up Park Road and Parsons Walk is one of the nicest walks into a town centre anywhere in the country, nice Victorian Park on one side and nice houses on the other.
Try coming in from Newtown, car showroom – boarded up, Seven Stars – burnt shell.
From Lower Ince, Bakeries either side of the road – piles of rubble, Old Town Hall – half knocked down, half falling down, Old Police Station – stripped out and boarded up.
The new shops and apartments that were to be built adjacent to the Grand Arcade car park – doesn’t look like it’s going to happen, derelict land.
Pubs across the Borough – 50 % must be boarded up.
Countless businesses closed and empty, yet more offices get built but remain unoccupied.Whichever direction you enter the town centre at the moment it’s a disgrace, boarded up buildings, stupid road systems, filth and scumbags, I love our town but it’s time to change the people who run it, immediately !
He only got about 12 games, Laws has won 1 in 10.
Yeah and he lost the last 6 on the bounce !
I’m not actually defending Hutchings, I’m just saying if Laws had started as well as him, we would be more worried now.
You say there’s nowt wrong with that Westwood fella but I was talking to a load of Portsmouth fans in the Moon last season and they say no-one can stand him, he’s a knob. I’m not saying he is, I’ve never met him.
