No snow Dave it was lashing it down. when i got back to leyland the roundabout was flooded and it was on the BBC 1 news that night.

No, honestly, Bournemouth in 1987 was abandoned due to heavy snow. I remember it clearly.

100% definite it was snow and Courtney was the ref.

Here’s programme from the game. Mines in a bag in my dads garage, I think!

Checked out the replayed game, played the following month, and we actually lost 2-0.

such a long time ago that your your more then likely right. i stopped buying progs years ago but i was buying them that season. that is my mission tonight to see what was said in the programme after that game. they are all in order so should not be a ball ache. that game sticks in my mind because of the heavy rain in Leyland and it been on the national news. i do remember a game in possibly the FA CUP that season were there was heavy snow . possible score was 4-0 to us and i do remember a Tony Kelly free kick special flying in to the onion bag in that game.

I don’t have the stats on abandoned games, but I can remember Watford a couple of years back.

Paul Jewell ran over to us in the away end and asked if it should carry on…… and it didn’t. we were drawing I think and we drew the rematch.

Thanks for that. i don’t remember it, but my memory is like swiss cheese apart from set memories  . so that is 2 since 1932. unless there was one in 1939 because the Ref lost is false teeth or something :D

The W’s are in trouble seems to be bordering on cliche territory since the start of the Year.

I’ll go for 1441, the 1000th game being Gillingham away 15th April 2000 and wait for Garswood to give the exact answer… :banana-skier:

Genuinely help these people out, stop them losing their homes and what not and also, them payday loans where you get charged £25 interest for every 100 you take out, we stop all that interest too.. NOT a bad service. There is also no set amount of monthly payment… facts right Filmoss ;) .. If I was in debt or if I ever took out a payday loan, I would be going on a debt management plan myself :)
I used to work there James… and you cannot guarentee to stop the charges and interest. And your company still tell the customers that you can. Which is a lie lol…. You also take customers card details, and when they ring in within the 7day cooling off period to cancel there plan. You ignore the call and still take the money! From the plan point of view it is quite good. Gets the creditors off there backs etc an IVA is emmense for some people! Also your right BOB he doesnt go down king st… Hes not seen the place sinse before christmas because of his ‘maude’!
There is no ‘7 day cooling off period’ .. Some of them pay on the day.. if they don’t they can cancel anytime up to 24 hours before the plan. I tell them whatever they want to hear but I do not lie :) .. I am the best! Plus we are the most established and well know DM company Zoggy and also we are that good that the UK insolvency helpline has asked us to take their calls ;) .. King ST sat Zog yes?!
listen to you two, justifying your jobs that are akin to robbing graves. oooooooooo i love my company who i work for. there so much better then yours zog. we hide the bullshit so much better then your company. you was working on building sites wasn’t you zog?. is this what it as honestly come to?. working for legal loan sharks?. i bet everyone who works at both your ? places of work are under 30 ( i mean the lackeys who do the telephone work)??????
