Happy Xmas everyone xx
HERE HERE.
damn and blast what the hell do we have to do.
how long was played.
First home game with Uwe in charge. Got to be an omen.Last time we played Horwich, Feb 2012, was the turning point of that season.
If we had lost and QPR/Blackburn won, we would have been 8 points off safety..no way out from that. We won and they lost so although still bottom, we were 2 points off safety.
The rest of that season is history…Liverpool, ManUre, Arsenal, Newcastle (Pardew  Never forget) all swept away.
Really looking forward to tomorrow, lets get behind the boys. We’re rid of the enemy within…onwards and upwards.
2-0 for me… :cheer:
and its oooh clap clap clap aaagh oooh clap clap clap aaagh if we are going to do it.
well played Jordi Gomez thats more like it.
Personally I think it’s a good idea.
Obviously it would be less frequent than current yellow cards (but when I were a lad bookings were rare anyway), but it would at least penalise someone in the game they had committed the offence, rather than now where someone commits a foul against us that prevents a goal, and then due to totting up gets banned from a game next week against our biggest rivals. THAT doesn’t make sense.
agreed refs a ref let him get on with it,what goes around comes around.
The game is already rife with divers and play actors trying to con refs and win dodgy decisions. GL, would this idea not make matters worse if a player knows he can possibly get an opponent binned for part of the game?. Imagine United are losing Ashley Young takes to the field, Bambi on ice.
No not for me, another belter from the office of Sepp Blatter and his band of performing idiots.[/quote]
Looks like the old City favorite is going to take over and try to make sense of Coyle’s mess.new chant u we aagh
It will be an improvement if the team has a plan at all.It will have to be a conventional back four. Martinez practised the back three for months before playing it in the first team. If the new manager isn’t confident in it, he can hardly ask the players to carry it out.
Of the experienced back three, only Ramis is available. The role of the wing backs is crucial. Though Boyce and Beausejour are still here, I don’t think we’ll see it again.
ROGNE RAMIS BARNETT will do a job as a three.
no i was expecting this to be coyles defence when he spoke to the press.
Turned some decent players average, buys two useless strikers and wants to spend money on more crap signings in January. Think uncle dave will have a word tonight. How can you sack someone when we hit the bar twice, their keeper pulled off a string of good saves and we created numerous chances.
Maybe Fortune and Holt or Holt and Powell or Pwell and Fortune and play one winger. We need two up front and we need two up front who play together consistently.yAgreed you cant beat a good partnership it becomes natural to work for one another.
According to skysports coyle reckons we controlled the game and deserved to win.Hmm I reckon they controlled the game with there superior possession personally and thought they deserved it in the end.
My take on coyle is that he has the players capable of doing much better, the formation on paper looks sound but there just not playing as a team, no fluency between them, I’m not sure what’s missing but has he??
His comment in wep just about says it all,the people who cheered when Gomez was subbed need to realise what he brings to the game.Well after watching last night everyone who cheered thought that he brings jack shit to the game.
.Why do we never have a 15-20 goal a season striker and please don’t give me the everyone is after the sameWhen was the last time we had one was it Ellington,Roberts and before that Graeme Jones
maybe its the way we play, look at strikers we have ruined.
24 November 2013 at 11:51 pm in reply to: Q for those who are obsessed with the last manager #123725Hes doing ok with amount of games weve played and all the team changes he as to make due to the amount of games still in need of a striker which hopefully be soon sorteddont bank on the loanee his record isnt prolific.
