In a word……Naivety! From Caldwell, spend the money we offered Liverpool for Brannigan on a striker and why the fuck didn’t Jussi play? I thought Bogdan was brought in to deputise unless we’ve signed him with the 75% clause written in to his loan contract.
A long way to go yet, quite pleased with the first half performance today play like that for 90 minutes next week against Coyle’s mob and we’ll be celebrating our first league win of the new season.
Up the tics!
Fuck the EFL
Yet over the three games Wakefield are still 10 points ahead, it must be that narrow win for Wakefield a few months ago thats making the difference!
Bumper crowd on again at the football ground last night, less than 10k Wigan rugby fans could be arsed to show up for a Super 8s game.
Fuck the EFL
So if this lad is playing shite Latics must play him because of the 75% clause or face a fine FFS?
Shouldnt the club be looking at strikers? A bit threadbare in that department!
Do you really think the club aren’t looking for stickers?
I dont care how many stickers they are looking at it’s another striker we need and pronto!
It won’t be reet if other lads are playing out of their skins and putting in the effort in training and have to make way for a lad that is virtually guaranteed a start no matter what!

Mustn’t be needed in the management’s eyes. They may see him as a weak link in the defence and surplus to requirements.Apparantly a training ground bust up a couple of weeks ago with Caldwell forced the move.
A couple of unsavoury comments were made.Fuck the EFL
Not if we keep getting rid of decent players like Jason Pearce, barmy decision by the club!
Fuck the EFL
Nicholls leaving and Max Power signing an extension on top of his current contract is two lots of good news today.
Nice one, up the tics!
Fuck the EFL
:woohoo:

The number 10 shirt is still available (Davies now number 21) could that mean another forward on the way in?
Hope so!

All a bit odd this obsession with how many other men watch an activity isn’t it? When I go to the pub I don’t think how many other blokes are in. Or when I take the kids to the cinema I don’t think ‘it’s a disgrace that only 30 turned up for ghost busters’. Why does it matter if 200 go to Doncaster to watch a different sport? Seems to me both clubs have a similar following. Does it really matter?
Excellent comment, well said!Yet you have single-handedly closed down the comments section of the WEP with your obsession on the support of a sport you claim to hate.
Fucking Hypocrite
Did you go to Doncaster on Friday? A simple yes or no will do.

Or when I take the kids to the cinema I don’t think ‘it’s a disgrace that only 30 turned up for ghost busters’. How can it be a ‘disgrace’ that 6000 people have bought season tickets to watch eleven blokes kick a ball around? Why does it matter if 200 go to Doncaster to watch a different sport? Seems to me both clubs have a similar following. Does it really matter?
If you like being in big crowds go and watch a bigger club. We ain’t one and never will be. Watched us with 1500 on, watched us with 20000 on. Did I enjoy it more with a bigger crowd on? No. Grow up!
Amen brother.
The Wigan Athletic story is made more remarkable because of small crowds ffs, constantly pissing off fans of clubs who pull in 40,000 plus and never win anything. Punching above our weight is our trademark and if people looked at the real reason why we can never get big crowds they would not see that it is a “rugby town” or other bullshit excuses but simply down to geography. We are smack bang in the middle of the biggest football hotbed in Britain competing with 4 of the biggest clubs in England all with history and massive fan bases. Many Wigan folk have been fans of these clubs since the sport was invented and are not gonna change because Latics do well. We will never ever get big crowds home or away but ask me if I would swap all the success at this amazing club for a big fan base and you will told where to shove it.
Excellent comment Nuneaton, well said!

25 quid is excessive. Plus travel and food and drink. Expensive day for single fans never mind if families travel with youngsters.
A twenty pound limit should be compulsory on any ground including The Premier League.Horse shit. Get your tight arse to the games.
Did you go to the Hull v Wigan game on Friday dickhead?
Get on the “What an evening” thread and answer the questions you’ve been asked.Fuck the EFL
Considering it wasn’t a school night, I thought the turnout was pretty atrocious. One wonders what the away followings will be like over the coming months, and whether they’ll be the laughing stock of the league.274 to Fleetwood – its not exactly that far is it FFS?
Wigan rugby fans (ha ha) are already the laughing stock of Super League, now never mind swerving the question, whats your thoughts on last nights farce?
Did YOU go Smutty? Hypocrite if you didnt!
Fuck the EFL
And of course, we mustn’t forget the day the Wigan public couldn’t even bother to attend a semi final played in Wigan:Wigan Athletic are known in our town as “Little Latics” we dont pretend or boast that we are a big club unlike the deluded bell ends that support pffft the most overated RL players in the sport.
Another potless season on the cards!
Got nowt to say on last nights latest debacle?
