Nobody really knows what cook’s “style” is, however this could be seen as a positive move, if he is looking to play on the deck, put some through balls in etc. … instead of playing “hoof” which Bogle would be suited for, looks like he’s planning to play more the style that Grigg will suit..
This is another example for those that believe the window should remain closed until mid season .. causes lots of unsettlement within the squad .. .and the fans !
If the deal is good for both parties and we don’t spend the majority of our wage budget on him, he will certainly bring experience to the squad. We just moved Mandarin on and maybe same is coming for McKay so to add another striker I think is realistic but wouldn’t like the club to spend major amount on paying his wages..

Most probably not to effect season ticket sales._.More worrying is the thought our team might well be ex non league and division 2 players because i feell the floodgates are ready to burst open

We have no clue what goes on, we have to trust in our club or whats the point ? We have no idea what is said, or contracts, or what goes on behind closed doors etc. This happens every season at every club – people come, people go, but more importantly the club goes on and this is why we go there week in week out. Lets be positive – who knows what will happen next year.. but that’s just part and parcel of the excitement of supporting our team.

Unfortunately gone are the days we can attract/afford proven talent, I think this is the way it is, and has been for some time now – buy young/raw, hope they reach a certain level of potential .. then sell for profit. Tough, but this is the way I see it.

I know we offered him a new deal but haven’t seen anything to say he’s accepted, think it was the same time as they offered perks a deal.
