A great attendance really but such a shame that we were treated to such garbage. A negative set up with snails pace build ups, passing sideways, backways and to Milwall players. Yawn a minute stuff. Malky, Uwe and Coyle were booed off for better performances and approaches to games than this. Points thrown away in the name of dreadfully football. If Gary wants to play this yawn a minute rubbish 7991 will seem very good indeed.
Davies has been fantastic for us but its no use if he misses half the games through injury.
Heard that Horc. That could only be us. What an idiotic and senseless move.
Every game is winnable. It is just up to Gary what the chances of a win are. Play attacking football with earnest and the chances of a win will be greater. Pass it around slowly and highten the chance of a draw.
Let us hope so. We saw off Fleetwood with our patched up side so we could do. Not sure if Milwall got shut of everyone like us, if not they could be difficult but we have signed a squad for promotion so these next three could be interesting. Let us hope the football is and not a borefest of tippy tappy Bob Bollocks.
I am sticking with ten points from the twelve and a win at Crewe to get us on the road to Wembley. Holt with a brace at Crewe and ten goals before we sell him cheap in January jus has he is established in the side.Ten points will do out of the 12.
May require a long or forward pass and the law according to Bobby does not permit that Rich!
If Caldwell sticks with his negative policy away from home it will be Grigg, Davies and Holt our three strikers that will be the Waghorns and Delorts and co next year, scoring freely for other clubs.
Maybe its something to do with the way Rangers set their side up for away games. Is it possible they may play strikers and go for goals rather than passing the ball sideways and backwards bringing the opposition to them. Is it at all possible that Wags is scoring freely not just because the opposition is shit but because his arse is in gear and not just keeping the bench warm. Maybe he gets some service from that unknown entity at Latics, a proper winger.Face it we were not exactly playing Chelsea at Boundary Park but nobody ran amock and tore the Oldham defence apart yesterday but Waghorn did tday and is doing regularly.
Yes its a case of Gary (I love Bobby) anytime he can find an excuse for it despite us looking so much better and entertaining. Can’t do much about Davies being injured but he was a crock when we signed him so alternatives need to be there not reverting back to negative play. Today we started with three centre backs, a left back, five midfielder and a young loanee striker on his own up front. No wingers either. What should we expect to get out of games with this sort of starting line ups. Get a lead and sit back passing it around like a training game. Draws and dull football. Hopefully Grigg Davies or Holt will be ready soon.
Yes getting something out of a game playing twenty minutes with ten men is a good point in the end but does not improve our overall away form much. Going to have to start being more direct and positive away.
Yip 1-1 with the one recognised striker. Good guess. Grigg on the bench keeping it nice and warm. Two good points thrown away.
Very similar Papa. Must admit the giant turd mistaken for an otter in the yarrow would probably turn more heads.
Anyway why are they still playing their domestic competitions while they have a world cup to concentrate on. If anyone’s arsed watching England the ones with dirty skin are the rugger men who played last night and didn’t shower. Scruffy gets.Better news, Leeds win Egg League. Not that it’s important and I know its a football forum but I just detest the parasitic Cuckoos.
West Broms Hawthorns is the highest but Owdham is cowd. Cowdest I have been was at Springy v Tranmere in the cup in 1966/7 season and at Gillingham once in the mid to late eighties. Bloomfield on the Kop one boxing day, man alive in what was like an hurricane was bleeding awfull.
