Vale will be quaking in their boots if they hear we are going there to play positive attacking football but Vale like any other club will fancy their chances if they hear we are going there to build up a slow momentum from the back as demonstrated yesterday before the change of style and formation.
Nineteen in.
Nineteen out.
In out,in out, shake em all about.
You do the Gary Caldwell and turn around.
That’s what it’s all about.
Oh do the Gary Caldwell, oh do the Gary Caldwell, oh do the Gary Caldwell.
One hundred points, that’s what it’s all about.Progression well and trully shown. Lesson learned though for Gary. Don’t change a winning formation. Don’t revert back to a negative boring one up front. Go to win and play attacking football. Thank goodness Gary is learning though unlike his predecessors. He saw his mistake today and did the right thing and he pulled off an incredible comeback. Who knows we might change this slow build up from the back tactic next. Well done GC and Latics today
Start with two up top at Vale now please.he signed a new contract at the Never Win Outs the day he signed on loan for Latics so they must rate him .
It would be interesting to know just how many players have left since the summer we left the greed league and also how many have also arrived. Next would be the number who have both arrived and left. May explain in part the rapid decline. Stability and consistency are what we need now but if by January if we are looking to be in a dodgy position who is to say there will not be another mass clear out to prepare for the fourth tier. I don’t think this will happen but who knows anything can happen. Grigg and Davies loaned out, others loaned and sold. It has happened before not too long ago.
Never saw enough of any of them to even judge if they would be as good or worse than what we have now but we got shut of them all for one reason Tez and that is pay structure. They were on Championship salaries not third tier salaries. One thing though they may have given us a few more goals if given regular football or had a strike partner, so thank goodness Gary has identified this and is trying to amend the situation.
It could do but they have been doing very well recently with limited resources.
A lad on loan from Newcastle signed untill end of season Vukic. Could be good. Vaughn from Huddersfield. By all accounts quite a decent player but prone to injury so potentially another decent signing. That’s two strikers now from The Terriers.
Once proud club????
Very proud club now even if a bit of humble pie is beeing swallowed and even though there are various opinions spouted on here most of us are very proud to follow this club in our many different ways!!!Wish whelan and his family where on that out list disgraceful what is happening at our once proud club :angry:But when we rose through the leagues and stayed in the greed league eight years and won that cup thingy would that have been disgracefull. After all that did happen to our club too.’
Inevitable any player signed as a Championship squad would be out (Wages) whether they are good, bad, contented or whingers. We had a good chance of promotion with with the squad that was left last May even after the loanees and short timers had left. Not sure now as there is a lot of time needed for a full squad of new players to pull together and gain success. Mid table would be good this time round. However well done to Gary for shipping out Crock Billy Big Bollocks Huws we do not need attitudes like his. A reject from Citeh ffs. Who does he think he is???
Deckchair/Bench sounds familiar!
Many thanks for that informative information thirty five but in your instruction you presumed I was a visual learner. By this prejudged presumption you failed to educate me to my full potential. If you had been arsed to present me with a learning styles questionaire you would have concluded I was indeed a kinaesthetic learner more accustomed to learning by participating in practical activities. Try the exercise next time professor then follow that up by using the psychomotor domain of Blooms taxonomy of learning or simply just use a few manners.
I think a couple of strikers will be on Gary’s wish list. If Billy goes that will be striker number five disposed of with Grigg and Davies brought in and only Holty left to cover them who is unfit. To think this thread was started over two months ago. Not that we havnt had time to dort this shambles out!!
