I had to miss yesterday’s game but keep reading about Leon Balogun looking very good in defence, any thoughts guys?
And how good is Owen Goole, is he on fire?
1 litre mint green mini metro for me, loved her, not even a radio, but I loved herI had a custard yellow Metro City with the mandatory rusty stripe on the front wing. Other drivers would get extremely angry when you overtook them, it was like the ultimate insult to them.
It was however very reliable but I’m not saying how much I sold it for.
My first car was a Morris Ital, the car that finally killed Austin Morris.
I had a special name for it but I couldn’t type it on here!
It had a manual choke, remember them?
My mate had an Ital, that he inherited from his Dad, he used to say that he’d done 27,000 miles in it and reckoned he’d pushed the fkn thing for 23,000 of them !
I bet his Dad bought mine, I sold the sh1theap £100
£100…….You robbing git!!!!
Well…..
It still had half a tank of petrol!
How much was petrol back then? £1.50 a gallon at most.
5 x £1.50 = £7.50, I rest my case Mr Edwards you are a wheeler dealer cowboy mate.
Its a fair cop, guilty as charged. It didn’t even have a cassette player!
What was the speed machine you had just bought going to Crewe one end of season? Might have been Huddersfield?

I’ve worked out the answer to your origin.
You were born in Atlantis and you’ve travelled back from the future!!

Massive game for our club. Testament to our yough policy. Might seem sill question but do we think Cook will release Geldhardt from Saturdays 1st team duties to play ?Been thinking about this myself. Maybe he’ll play the first 45 minutes at Old Trafford and the second 45 at the Hawthorns?
Watched Sheff Weds at Luton on TV last night and they were dreadful and easily beaten by a bottom 3 team. Was actually scratching my head as to how the are not wher we are!
surely going to be some teams dropping into it if we could only string another 2 wins back to back like the other week.I watched Millwall and Fulham, and they were both dreadful. How Millwall are even in the same division is beyond me, they looked like a pub team.
Trouble is horc, against a pub team we’d dominate the game and pass it in front of them, miss the few chances we create and find a way to concede 2 goals.
I’ve never actually seen him in action but I’d like to see a number of the young uns getting a chance.
I’m not a fan of either Marshall or Jamie Jones.
Maybe Kal Naismith will have a go in between the sticks before the season is out!
Simply put Donny, we have too many players that at this level are not good enough. You’re a big fan of wingers, but the 3 we have are all pretty poor. Masseys form last season was quite clearly a one off, Jacobs offers little to nothing at this level and the less said about Lowe the better.Defensively, both Dunks and Kipre are like reincarnations of Titus Bramble but with less quality and more errors.
After my comment on another thread yesterday, I’d have to say I thought Kipre had an excellent game yesterday. Both goals were wind assisted flukes and even Dunkley was ok until his naive sending off.
And am I seeing hallucinations, or is Kipre starting to spray some passing around the pitch?I thought Kipre played well but couldn’t tell from my seat if he was at fault in the lead up to the Dunkley incident.
Says it all for us when “own goal” is one our leading scorers.
