We have actually benefited from lots of great Scottish players over the years, including the fantastic Kal Beckenbauer Naismith and David the cat Marshall.

He took it wellFair play to him. Signed for us in the third tier, when Jewell was being slagged off left, right and centre, helped us get to the Premier league and stay there, and played for Scotland before they were crap.

Why have we signed a centre back? Probably because we only have 2.Somehow I posted this on another thread, but yeah I agree we did need another defender.
But the others, including Dowell, are not what we need.If they turn out to be sh1t hot I’ll gladly eat my words
When have our January signings ever made sense? We were making bonkers signings well before Cooks time.
Unless these new lads are dynamite, I don’t see the point in having them. It just complicates team selection, makes it harder for our own talented youngsters to even get a seat on the bench,and, potentially disrupts the team spirit.
Unless we’re prioritising winning the u23 division?
