The strikers are in the box!
But none are on fire
But will he ever light them?
I was expecting a classic “after the Lord Mayor’s show” performance with Naismith and Dunkley tripping over each other. But that didn’t happen thankfully. Confidence is so fragile at the moment I’m just glad we didn’t lose in the last minute, pick up any injuries or get anyone sent off before we head into the Bermuda Triangle on Monday.
Two games unbeaten!!
That probably didn’t happen cos Dunkley didn’t play???
Well, I didn’t want to say, but I’d rather see him up front!

We battled hard, played ok but the reality is scored from one mistake, the only other chance came from another error, created nothing else. However defended really well again. Kipre MOM proved there’s a proper defender in there somewhere. Bit of a gripe when Cook turned up he slowed them down and settled for a pointKipre looks a whole different player, composed, passing well and judging his challenges better. Is this because he’s playing alongside Naismith? Or Jones is communicating better? Or just a fluke and I need new glasses?
The drink must have been a pick-me-up.Whatever he was drinking, it didn’t have enough kick to it
Jones will be alright for Saturday
So long as he keeps his gin up!
Don’t MILK it Ed, yes it was a RUM do but I’m sure he has a STOUT character and will recover. It will be a TONIC for him to play well. WATER cock up it was but with the right supPORT he will be ok.
I’m just hoping he loses his bottle on Saturday

I think sometimes we get forced into hoofball when the opposition, like Brentford, employ a high pressing game. We often don’t have the players skilled enough to pass through this and so end up wildly lumping it forward. Unfortunately this is done in panic rather than cohesive “plan B”, and so we look terrible and ineffective.
We should have more than one tactic if our favoured passing game isn’t working.
Were West Brom fans boycotting the game? Completely ruined my prediction
They weren’t boycotting but frigging Sky are ruining the game.
Agreed donny
I m anticipating a bigger away following so 12021
Unfortunately Naismith missed him swigging from his bottle otherwise he wouldn’t have passed it.
If Cook stays in the stands then he’ll see the game as we experts see it and then he’ll sort his team out
I’m also a slave to superstition so I’ll be missing the kick off again on Saturday and hopefully the rest of the season.

With Naismith.
Foot in mouth with that comment, the lad was outstanding.
I agree, food for thought to keep him at the back on Saturday?
