Is nobody taking notice of what I’ve said. The game is planned for 2:30pm on Sunday. GM police are not happy that the half marathon, 5K and 1k races are taking place that day in Wigan so police resources are being stretched. With the poor publicity the old bill got for the City game, they are desperate for the game to be moved to another day. Who will win, GMP or the FA?
Well you were wrong! ;) Didn’t take a rocket scientist to predict it was going to be on the Sunday! ;)
He was only a hour out TBF!
How many time slots are there on a Sunday for an FA Cup Quarter final! I had guessed 4pm so I was only two and a half hours out! :)

I said this in an earlier thread! Schools a plenty closed in Blackburn and Burnley due to conditions outside and around the surrounding areas of each school in case! It’s really cold out that way at the moment with no signs of letting up!
My concern is fitting these games in! It’ll be another come the Southampton game! From 30th March – 21st April we have 7 games pencilled in !
It’s not just the pitch that is considered though in these situations, it’s the approach roads and terraces etc !
Blizzards through the night on more than just one night!

No more forecast in the near future. There is for Blackburn and plenty of it!
Joyce is an obstinate man who won’t admit when he’s wrong, not good for a football manager!
I’ve also never had a reply to an email! Common courtesy in my book, regardless of subject or sender!
We have more wriggle room than any of the others really in that we can afford to lose at least one game,no matter what anybody else does. Nobody else can say that. The potential problem is if we have any more cancellations and the squad gets overstretched, but we have our fate in our own hands with a little to spare. If we fuck up on Sunday then the pressure will be on us! A draw would be a good result in my opinion!
We are on about most of the homes games this season aren’t we! Apart from the obvious last Monday I can only remember 45 mins against Gillingham and the Bury game that have had me thinking ” That was good” ! I missed the West Ham game by the way!
Totally agree, there have been some poor performances at home for quite a while through various reasons but at the end of the day wins against Fleetwood, Rochdale, Doncaster, Gillingham (second half) which weren’t classics all stack the points up. Shrewsbury, Charlton, Blackburn, Peterborough, Bradford, Blackpool again not classics could go down as points chucked away. Looking at that Fill the home league performances haven’t been that amazing overall. It must improve to gain automatic promotion.
We have the second best record at home so far this season but the performances have been scrappy on the whole, that is my point! It’s a pretty shitty league if we are being honest with ourselves!

Monday night would be a bit unfair on Southampton fans!
With 2 games being on the Saturday I would imagine ours will be on the Sunday!
Massive cover up that stinks of shit if you ask me!
