Listening to Talk Sport on the way home it was mentioned that the ref blew the whistle for half time as the ball was in mid-air and the goal should have counted. I saw it differently, and thought Kirkland was walking off to the tunnel after he heard the whistle therefore leaving an easy chance for them.No way. If there hadnt been a whistle they wudda scored damage had already been done ! We were lucky !

Unfortunately he is quite right though isn’t he ! I must admit that my enthusiasm has wained somewhat. What with last seasons dismal home form so far continuing into this season I aint holding my breath !Has Callum Mcmanaman grown any ? He was tiny yet tenacious when I saw him a couple of yr back ! One for the future I remember thinking to myself !
