Talk about rubbing it in eh! I wasn’t there but at the end of the day it will all pale into insignificance ! Just sayin!
Probably fil but admit it you will still be back next season coz the ride will continue. Latics rollercoaster reopening in August nobody knowing if its going up or down just that its the best ride in town.
I’ll be back yeah but not if they choose Barrow and it’s not because I hate him, there needs to be a clear out, wheat from chaff and all that!

In the last 2 games we’ve shipped 2 goals to an utterly shite relegated side and 2 goals to a side who were clearly thinking of their Summer holidays. I can’t help thinking that Brighton will be quite as obliging should they score a couple what with a league title being at stake and all that but ya never know I guess! Since Barrow took over we have shipped 9 goals in just 4 games, that is a worrying stat with 3 of our remaining 4 games against promotion contenders!
Gilks
Warnock
Burn
Morgan
Buxton
Gilbey
McDonald
Morsy
Powell
Obertan
ColcloughGood choice and a good way to start preparing for next season too. 4-5-1 with Powell as our lone striker.
Grigg and Bogle will be fit for next season and Obertan will have gone. Our ‘new’ manager will surely bring in further forwards.
There will be quite a few jumping ship if/when we go down! I still think it will be the latter as it’s all too little too late, you never know though I guess! Bristol City game was our downfall!
‘Judas’ making his debut for Norwich, getting the worst stick from a crowd that I have ever witnessed that resulted in him having a right ‘Mare’ and subsequently being subbed!
we might be only 1 point from safety…
It’s not inconceivable, but how many times have i thought along the same lines this season!!!
Barnsley’s record is similar to ours, won only 2 in the last ten. So there is a slim chance we can pick something up.
Brighton, well if they win at Wolves & other results go their way they are as good as promoted. Maybe they’ll go on the pop all weekend and be off pace Monday & we scap a win!!!! (and no i haven’t been drinking)
Too much to wish for in my opinion
Brighton like any other club would prefer to go up as champions!
All we can do is win our games and hope for the best but unfortunately the damage has already been done and this is too little too late I fear. The whole season has been bereft of any real passion and things obviously haven’t been right behind the scenes.
A supporter should get it From
the east stand was so incensed at a bit of poor play by Powell that he gave him a tirade of abuse that Powell reacted to with a few gestures.
Fast forward a few minutes and an angry and fired up Powell went on to win a dangerous free kick and then hit one of the best free kicks I have seen down there for a long while. He showed passion and heart and it makes you wonder whether it was a turning point for him. .
Would he have done all that without that spat with the supporter ?Yes, because, for once, Powell had it on him and was fired up from the second he came on. So no, the supporter takes no credit whatsoever.
Fair play to him, though. I’m impressed an Eaststander had even managed to get himself sat facing the pitch. Not so bright, folk over that side
Poor attempt that griff lad. Must try harder! ;)
Pfffff.. more like already down and Barrow sacked.
More like down….and Barrow installed on a 2 year contract.
Can see it happening.
I hope to fuck that you are wrong.
I won’t renew if it’s Barrow, bollocks to that blind faith malarkey !
Morsy got booked and followed it up with two more fouls, one just on half time. I wasn’t that surprised when he didn’t come out for the second half, one more foul and we would’ve been down to 10.
and we might have lost.
I like the cut of your jib Samantha :)
Chatting with a Rovers fan at work today, comparing relegation form. His Father is an ardent Rovers fan who is on the supporters committee and who recently met with their Financial Director. During the meeting it was revealed that over the previous financial year that Venkys had taken out pay day loans to help meet the players wage bill and as a result had racked up 8 million in re-payment interest.
Now if that doesn’t stink of sneaking 8 million out of the club ( into a loan company that has a long convoluted ownership link to Venkys , I don’t know what does. The supporters committee also asked if there was any danger of going into administration; to which the answer was yes and possibly in the not too distant future. It’s no wonder they are praying that Venkys would cluck off !Al, when are you going to close your brackets? ;)
Sub-consciously have you seen some article about that cross-code rugby challenge that Wigan played Bath in the 90s?
No mutley I remember the Bath game, pretty sure it did nothing to trigger my dream, I have to say I was impressed with the rugby team being able to hold us to one each for 40 minutes, mind you they did have 2 extra players.
They would give us a game now and with 11 players each ! ;)
More baffling decisions?
I wonder if the super fan is proud of his boys tonight?
Who the superfan?
Jrfatfan, he loves his ‘Superfan’ status! :)
As far as I know the answer is “no”.
The database the site is based on doesn’t allow that.Ok, cheers. I know that you used to be able to!
