I thought he was decent from what I saw of him!
Cheers, I’ll give the Galleries shop a bell. Had used the email on the site and they just said: if you can’t see them on the site, we don’t have them.Typical ‘Can’t be arsed’ email reply  Might just be me but I like to help people whenever possible and if those shirts are indeed in the Galleries shop then shame on the the person who replied to you! They could have maybe suggested you try the shop as indeed Horc just did!
Will and Yanic not starting shows exactly why WJ needs a clear out and bring his own guys in. We cannot begin to see what changes he makes on the field until he gets to know everyone. It also showed yesterday that Barrow needs a new position at the club. Can he make a good brew?
Power was woeful yesterday, by far the worst out there, closely followed by Burke who didn’t know what day it was for the first 30 mins or so! Bogdan might be a good shot stopper but aren’t most keepers! His all round game is well below the standard needed to compete in this division and his distribution! Don’t get me started on that! I’m pretty sure Joyce will have noted plenty and will certainly have his work cut out but I have faith in him and thankfully we have a break now so he has time on his hands, albeit it only a couple of weeks!
Warren Joyce lives and breaths football always has! No nonsense bloke who calls a spade a spade and his passion for the game can only be a positive for our club!
Very positive post.
Who are you? And what have you done with the real Phil Moss?
I’ve changed! :) Mind you, if it had been Barrow I wouldn’t have been quite so positive! ;)
I’d say it’s about ambition and adding another string to his bow, a feather in his cap if you will!

What ?, you on skunk ?Mushrooms I reckon !
The more you read about Warren Joyce the better the appointment seems.Welcome aboard! ;)
I have always thought that Barrow is Whelan’s ‘Eyes And Ears’ Not sure if this is still the case what with Sharpe being at the helm of the club?
Some of the best managers around started off managing reserve sides!
1-8 with some bookmakers now is Warren Joyce! He would be a better replacement than Giggs having got more experience and he does have the Utd reserves playing some easy on the eye footy! His favoured formation is 4-2-3-1 as well which would be interesting!
Watching the goals on Youtube Sunday and it panned to GC and I’ve got to say his demeanour on the touchline reminded me of Roy Hodgson against Iceland.
Not good to see for him nor the fans as he looked worried & like he didn’t know what to do!I’ve no idea who is best to replace GC. Some of the names mentioned sound good / high profile, but do they or will they have the knowledge of the Championship to do anything?
Let’s hope Sharpy makes the right decision.
Let’s face it; on Saturday there were 9,000 managers walking off the DW at the final whistle, and all of them were saying things like:
Why couldn’t he see which substitutions would have been the right ones to make.
Why did he not start with Jordi.
He’s watching a different game than us.
How hard can it be to instruct a football team.So come on; it can’t be that hard to get us playing the correct style of football; especially with the decent selection of players that we have !
So what is the ‘correct’ style of football?
The one that isn’t wrong!
Very PC thread but why? There are no women football managers in the leagues as far as I am aware!
